Apply once and do not reapply isn't ticked...

Trying to apply some GPP's to Win7 machines and not having any luck. All my GPO's apply without any issues so i'm stumped. Is it a permissions issue. The majority of what i want to apply are reg edits like the wallpaper, trying to hide/remove some of the Win7 rubbish the users don't need. I've also tried testing by copying a file from a network share on to C: and that hasn't worked either. Any thoughts?

I had a quick look through Event Viewer but couldn't see anything....was very quick though so will go back and look again. Edit: Nope....nothing there!

This is really weird....the test GPO doesn't display in the GPM either....

hmmm i didn't put the file.txt at the end of its destination, but still nothing....

ok, i may be messing up a simple thing here... I've asked it to copy a file from \\server\staff common\me and put it in c:\program files for the hell of it. Havent had much luck so far. Is it how im trying to do it?

oooh, i thought that might be the case... ooh thats clever!! Doesnt look like it failed, its listed as applied. I didnt tick the box the first time around if im honest, but even when i did it still hasnt removed anything. I havent had much luck with applying registry things also so wondering if i have a bigger issue.

Got rid of a lot of the crap I don't need/want. (Control panel icon wont go but that's another issue). So i log in as my test student S1. Got the S1 document icon in the corner of desktop but unfortunately it's got things in there I don't want as it just confuses peeps. Like Saved Games, searches, links, contacts, desktop and then it contains another S1 folder which looks like a redirected one. I basically just want to either get rid of it, or let it take me straight into the redirected documents folder. Clicking the S1 link on the start menu does the same thing too...

We're looking at getting some more visualisers. We have some Elmo ones which work fine in the KS2 end as the pc's are plugged into the HDMI ports so the VGA port is free for the visualiser. KS1 isnt so lucky and only have a VGA port for the PC. This leads to a lot of faffing of having to unplug the VGA and messing with splitters etc... Does anyone know of a model that may make things a bit easier. Thinking about it i could use the USB functionality so they run via the PC instead of straight through to the projector, but still thought id put the feelers out.

I've got a bunch of these in schools and i really like them. Epson support - not so much at the moment. The only issues i've had with them is this really weird issue of the Easy Interactive Function failing. I've tried all the usually troubleshooting but nothing fixes it. Now these devices don't come with any driver software, just plug and play. So, when i contact Epson, their advice? Low and behold....software made no difference... Anyone had this?
