Can somebody help out? Some teachers created files with Smartboard 9.5 software and they inform us that they are unable to read these files now they have been upgraded to v 11. Can anyone shed any light on this and is there an add on to make these old files compatible? Cheers again EN4

Hi All, We are contemplating getting 30 or so IPad mini's which will run on our LGFL2 network. Can anyone tell me a quick/best way of getting these all setup, connected and administering them. We have a SMART Board 400 or 500,an old one! Connects via serial to USB. Just introduced a new Win7 Dell lappy into the classroom, but I cant get the board to be recognised by the lappy. I have tried both version 9.5 and 10 of the Smartboard software and all of the settings, but to no avail! Can someone help me out please? I think I need to find a serial to usb driver! Any recommendations / suggestions greatly appreciated. EN4

Dear All, Strange question.. Our IT and Network support guy is great, comes in each week and looks after our network, servers, computers and everything else ICT related. We are about to renew his contract, but need to compare with 2 other companies. His work is great and we really want to keep him.
