Hi, Can anyone help? I have purchased reason 7 and have installed on 10 Macs (mavericks). The Install went well but when I try to activate the product it will only let me activate one machine. When i go to do the next one it says i need to de-authorize the other machine first. Hopefully someone can give me some help or let me know where I am going wrong, I have googled this issue and unable to find much help. Thanks.

Hi, I have used the Chrome ADM template to only allow Flash on a select few websites and that works a treat using the "Only allow plugins on these sites" setting. The problem is that the sites where its now blocked (Flash Game sites) gives the students an option to enable flash when right clicking on the page. Is there anyway I can stop the students from re-enabling flash? I am doing this as the school do not want to use a white list for Internet Filtering and I want to find the best way to stop flash games on the web without playing catchup and blocking each site one by one.

Can anyone confirm if they have Lion 10.7.2 joined to their domain and everything is working okay? We have just got some new MBP's and they bind to the domain but you can not login. After reading through some forums there are lots of people with the same issue but everyone has gone quiet for a few weeks now. Any advice or tips will be welcome.

I have now got it working! I had a setting called something like "force local home directory" ticked in active directory binding. Unticking this has fixed the problem.

Thanks I have tried what you mentioned and the general shared area for students appeared on the desktop using the smb://*******/*** but the users did not get their homedirectory? anu ideas?

Yes we are using a mac server with workgroup manager installed and all macs are bound to the domain and in a group within Workgroup manager.

I know this has been covered many times before but can anyone point me to a step by step guide on getting students home directory mapped when students log on to the macs?

Can you expand a little more on how you have managed to get filtered internet on the Ipads working without it asking for authentication all the time but still have normal user filtered access on the PC's. Cheers!
