I think you need to ask your reseller. They should be able to add the licenses you need. Pretty sure the deal is the same as the rest of OVS/EES where you pay for faculty fte and pupils are essentially unlimited.

Am I missing something awful here? Loads of the products we use in school send back telemetry of some kind. Lots of software has terms and conditions, none of which pupils under 13 could legally agree to. Surely we (the school) make the assessment as to what is suitable?

I have a duck living on our roof! I'll get a photo if I can. There is a vine growing across it and it's single story. It's a female mallard and I think it might be sitting on eggs given how much of the day it spends there. Previously I've seen a drake perching on the ridge of the roof for up to half an hour at a time. I thought that was mad - it didn't occur to me that they'd try and live up there!

I suspect that the terms of the warranty specify how it who uses it, target than who paid the supplier for it. Equally if there was a problem and the original purchaser took it back to the store it would be difficult to prove. If you buy 10 in one go and put a school security mark on it, it probably won't work though.

This came up recently: /showthread.php?t=222499 I think Microsoft are going to have to adjust how they do this or explain it better as lots of customers will be unhappy.

Hijack alert (and apologies). I'm doing some work for a charity and from the requirements they've given me, they're probably going to end up with a 365 tenancy. They're also looking at a way to manage memberships (not currently in my to do list). The new members have to apply and be vetted and then pay if accepted. Could Power Automate handle that kind of task? Possibly integrating with a payments provider? Thanks

There seems to be quite a distance between what is officially recommended and what organisations expect and at the minute there's a lot of inconsistency. A friend had a notification from the app that they needed to isolate. They checked with test and trace and were told that their partner (cohabiting) doesn't need to isolate unless either of them test positive. On one level that makes sense - if every contact of a contact had to isolate, we'd effectively end up in lockdown pretty quickly. However, if you're living with someone and the risk is high enough to justify one person isolating, it's difficult to see that the other person is much lower risk to their colleagues. Once most people are vaccinated, I think it'll probably make sense for contacts just to test every day. But unless children are vaccinated, that probably doesn't work for schools...
