  1. Looks like it is if your screenshot is anything to go by. I cant seen to see how to get to when I just looked though. TBF I cant remember the last time I used the online version, allways use the iPlayer via Virgin TV.
  2. Thats correct as far as I am aware as well. Although apparently one of the reasons the BBC are adding the live TV streaming to the iPlayer (available in Beta elsewhere on the site) is to get around this.
  3. You should get BBC HD, Channel 4 and Luxe HD free on Sky with a valid viewing card, although obviously you would need a Sky+HD box.
  4. The school had always gone with Viglen, but the last batch (approx 70) have been awful. We must have had half of them go back with the same fault and they feel horrible and plasticy. To give them there dues though support has always been top notch, fill out a form on line and they will be out the next day or if they need it back it will take 1-2 weeks to get it back in school. Almost always take your word on the fault so none of the silly going through hoops before they agree to a repair. Earlier in the year we tried Rock laptops for the first time and they have been brilliant so far, not a single fault with the 20 of them over the last 6 months. Havnt had to try out the support yet, so dunno what that is like.
  5. I second the Nokia 5800, havnt had any the problems that the review mentions.
  6. Kar2ouche was the only thing we didnt get running, had a problem with Birchfield Lessons Kits but just needed to change a line in a config file in each kit to get them running.
  7. We are having a problem with a workstation being painfully slow to access Letter Designer & Letter Generator and generate the reports. Works fine on another machine and on the server so Bromcom say its down to us. Access to the Bromcome web interface is fine and network access etc seems to be fine otherwise. Anyone have any ideas what may be causing it?
  8. I found if you have the smartclient factory image still on the HDD, restore back to that and at the part where you are supposed to click the 'shutdown' button in the top corner just shut down windows using Start > Shutdown and you get a nice clean XP installation. Saved loads of time where we would normally have to install from the CD.
  9. I remember when I was in High School with big Coca-Cola Banners in the dining hall and the Coca-Cola/Fanta/Sprite branded excercise books that we had
  10. We use a nice simple program called connection monitor which can be found here. Can set it to play a little notification sound when something goes down.
  11. It does the same thing on my personal machine, but noone has mentioned it doing it on the general network. Will have to go and test some and see. Built using the RM Blueprint as well.
  12. Wish I had read this thread before I started writing my own version of this

    Acer PC`s

What everyone else had said about the support tbh. I have a laptop that has gone away 6 times now for repair and still hasnt been fixed, the fault the person on the telephone has put on the job sheet the last couple of times has been nothing like the one Ive discribed so its been no wonder the technicians cant fix it
