@Koldov, I’ve had the same issue with some HP 640 G2 laptops. It was the actual screens that had gone faulty. Thankfully they were under warranty.

We have various versions of the ProBook 640 G1 right up to G5. We have Win 10 running on them perfectly fine on Microsoft vanilla network and RM CC4.

Its related to Dot Net Framework security patch. RM build started to work after removing the updates from the server and restarting it.

Hi. Remove the following updates KB4014579 and KB4014573. This should fix the issue.

Much appreciated. Will give them a shout tomorrow.

Any chance anyone might have a spare their looking to get rid off? I've attached a pic of what the remote looks like that the school needs. cheers. H.

It may be a good thing. If the Turkish government breaking human rights laws, helping terrorists etc then the military should intervene. P.S. Turkey isn't in Europe but could be in year 3000

Thanks for getting back @Fazza. Our trolleys have a power board and from that a cable that plugs into the laptop and not actual charger as you would get with a laptop.
-
Hi, We have a few Lapsafe Smartline trolleys (with pre-configured power leads) around our LA but they were configured for Dell. Problem is we are now getting HP laptops. The connector and power rating is the same but the HP laptops won't charge. Lights are flashing on the laptop which the manual indicates that its a faulty power adaptor. One option is to change the pre-configured cable/board for HP compatible but its going to cost an arm & leg for each trolley. Anyone has any other ways of doing this. Thanks, H.

Thanks for getting back. I am looking for something like hirens boot cd that will give me as one of the option to delete the partition automatically. Currently using windows 7 bootable usb to wipe the partition and then pxe booting.
-
Hi, I am trying to create a boot cd which will have diskpart as an option. Once the option is chosen, it would run diskpart and delete the partition. we are on RM CC4 network. We dont have the newest version of CC4 so the option to format drive isnt included in the build process. I would be grateful if anyone knows how to do this as we have close to 100 new computers to build - trying to make the process as simple as possible. Thanks in advance, H.

Looks like the government is making it harder for individuals/organisations to request info under freedom of information (FOI). Sounds like a good idea if your always getting hassled by companies but not good if your trying to get info from councils/governments i.e. wrong doings. more info below: https://www.mysociety.org/2015/11/10/your-access-to-freedom-of-information-is-under-threat-heres-what-to-do/ H.

its best to go with the new ap-ac lite model as it support the new ac wifi standard. better to future proof yourself.

Am also looking to redo my house network setup. Currently have virgin media broadband going into a router and then from there 3 netgear ap's. the setup works but issue is when moving around the house. the devices drop connection and then re-connects after a few seconds to the next ap. i have been reading up on ubiquiti stuff for last yfew weeks and decided to go with their unifi ap-ac lite model. theres no drop in wifi connection when moving about the house and also lets you have a separate guest network which is handy as we have a family business and have staff that currently connect to our wifi which i dont like.
