Have you spoke to the website company, I don't think you can just rely on YHGfL as it's not really there fault if the website is having routing issues. It's down to that one entity, this may be the case with other ISP's as well. Like I say I have seen these problems before and I have spoke to the companies directly to try and ascertain what the problems where. It's always best to go from all directions. Generally they will only deal with the user who is having the problem. It's just worth bearing that in mind.

I have dealt with YHGfL before about issues similar to this, who did you speak to when they told you to contact the website hosting company. Did you get a name???

Has anybody encountered the problem within the Integris G2 system, upon the point where you upload the data file onto they system, it comes back with a standard MS 'Page cannot be displayed' page. The network we run on uses proxy server settings and the proxy runs Squid. This issue only happens when I am going through the proxy, if I connect directly on an ADSL it has no issues. What I really need to know is if this application has any known issues with it or with Squid. Why should a proxy server cause issues as it is all going trough port 443. If any one has experienced this or similar problems, please get in touch, as I really need to get this sorted. If you need any more information please let me know. Thanks

Morning/Afternoon (depending when you are reading this), I just have a little question about ISA server 2006 been used as a reverse proxy. The issue is about password delegation. When I set up a site that uses passwords to enter the site, I have the issue that the authentication box just keeps popping up and it does not accept the user name and password which is entered. I have set up Authentication Delegation to be 'No Delegation, but client may authenticate directly' & within the Listener I have set the Client Authentication Method to 'No Authentication' Now I take it all user names and password will pass through and be delegated to the end server which the reverse proxy is connecting to. The question is does the Active Directory on the back end server need to be opened up for our reverse proxy to access this, so it can use it to pass the information. The issue to this is that the back end server is not in the same domain that the reverse proxy is. So if any one can give me some advise I would be most greatful. Cheers

Afternoon all, hope we are all well!!!!! Right I'm just wanting to knw if anyone has successfully manage to reverse proxy an RM EasyLink server using HTTPS. RM have told me that, I do not need a server certificate on my reverse proxy server, this being ISA 2006. I was led to belive that ISA needed a valid signed certificate bound to the vitrtual IP address of the server to allow SSL access. If it is not a ligitatley signed certificate it could then would not allow access to the server from the public Internet. At the moment I'm just wondering if this has ben done in any way by anybody out there. If you need anymore information, I will be happy to supply. Many thanks in advance.

I'm unsure on that one, I would have to speak to the school. The only problem to that answer I would say is that HTTP access works fine, it's only HTTPS access. So connection to the server is definatly there. I can also telnet to the backend server on port 443. I don't know fully how that server is configured. I wondered if anyone else had seen this error before. I know it makes it harder when I don't know the full extent of the config on the exchange server, but even to be pointed in the right direction would be a start. I can email the technician at the school to try and get more details, but I would like to send a long list rather than dribs and drabs. Cheers.

When I am accessing a schools OWA-exchange server I get a 502 Bad Gateway error. This is been reversed proxied by Apache and is set up correctly as I have copied the config file from a working config. We have a firewall in between the school and the outside world, but these letting access through as the hit counters have been incrementing. The port has been set up for for 443 access on the exchange box. Also I was told that the check box to allow access over a secure channel had been checked, I have tested this and are unable to get any access. Has any one got any ideas or links to setting up OWA access over SSL. This is an error that I have rarely seen before. I don't have much experience with exchange servers. So all help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been given a Certificate which needs to be converted to a .pem file for use under apache on a debian server, the certificate is presently in a .crt file. I need to know if you can just use the converted certificate in the Apache configuration using the directive; SSLCertificateFile Or do I need to seprate the file into a key file and a certificate file. I'm having some serious issues configuring this with my Apache server as well. I'm unsure of what directives need to be placed into the config file any help would be most appriciated, if youneed any further information I will be happy to supply these. Apache 2.0 Used as Reverse proxy for back end servers.

Hello all, I have a little problem with a 'Bad Gateway' error on our reverse proxy. I am running Apache on a Debian machine which is used to access an outlook web access client, we have a Cisco firewall in the path of the connection. I have checked this and the hit counters are incrementing, meaning that the connection is going through, I can also telnet to the box itself on port 443. My Apache configuration is correct as it was previously working. I was wondering if it could be configuration error on the client side. Unfortunately I do not have control over the back-end server and do not know the configuration of the OWA access for that box. I need to know if there is any common issues, or if there is anything that stands out to anybody. All help would be most great full. I could probably get some information from the owners of the exchange server, if needed. Many thanks.

Hello, I just wondered if anyone else has come across this problem, because it is doing my head in at the mo. We provided reverse proxying for a school that runs a MS exchange server (do not know which version) our reverse proxy runs Apache 2.0.55-4. I have the config file for the exchange URL set to use http, when I try to log onto the exchange server from IE7 I get the authentication box pop up, I put all the correct credentials into the box and gain access. This is where it falls down, all I get back is 'page cannot be displayed'. If I try to access the same URL on a firefox browser I get the authentication box and then when I log in the OWA page is displayed. Now I have heard something about this before and it is a problem with IE7, I was just wondering what the fix is, and where it has to be completed i.e client side on the exchange server, or is it a fix that can be completed on the Apache box. I would rather have this fix on the exchange server as I know the reverse proxy works fine under different web browsers. All advise and help would be most grateful. Thanks Matt Hunt Tech Engineer
