About ITBOB

  1. Yes tried chrome, and firefox and get the same issue.
  2. I have a site on a Windows 2008 domain. Over the last couple of days some websites will not load. They simply sit with the loading icon spinning in the tab. If you google search for the site it displays in the results but will not load. There is a Sonicwall TZ 105 but I cannot see anything in the logs about sites being blocked. If I enable a proxy all sites load fine, however the main application users use will not work. I've restarted the DNS service on the server, flushed the DNS cache on both the clients and server and also rebooted the client PC's, server and router. This happens on domain PC's, non-domain PC's and the server. Not sure where else to look? Any help would be appreciated!
  3. Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by wildcard?
  4. I'm following this guide as it meets my requirements for the time being. I'm struggling to get my head round the certificates part as it will not allow me to select an Online Certification Authority. What type of certificate do I need and where do I get it from? A couple of websites I've looked at provide SSL certificates but appear to be for websites rather than a Remote Desktop Gateway. Can anyone shed any light on this?
  5. Thanks for your replies. I've made a good start today and will finish tomorrow.
  6. I also am in the process of preparing a proposal and would be interested to see what others have produced or hear how people have justified another member of staff. I have lots of ideas and can easily justify but I want my proposal to cover all bases and not easily be declined. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to share any documents publicly. Thanks in advance!
  7. Thanks. I have now managed to get it to install on a few machines (firewall enabled) however the rest just give an "Unable to get an ipv4 address for this agent" error.
  8. Yesterday our Solus3 would install the agent on selected PC's without a problem. Today I have tried to deploy to another couple of PC's and the install just fails. The error I get is "access denied to the remote machine." The firewall settings are on the remote machine and I'm using an admin account to install. Nothing has changed since yesterday. Can anyone help?
  9. Thanks for the link. I've double checked and everything is correct. Still nothing. Have been waiting for Capita to call me back since 9am. I really want to get this finished and everything updated before everyone returns next week. Any other ideas?
  10. Yes double checked all the settings. I'm now just getting an error that states Solus is unable to match establishment number to postcode. I am sure these are correct. My suspicion is the proxy settings or firewall and I'm just getting this error because it can't connect to verify the details. The only firewall that would stop traffic is the SWGFL one. Do I need to request specific ports to be open or will it just use port 8080 to verify the details and get the updates?
  11. Hi its version 3.4.24
  12. I'm trying to install Solus3 and am having problems registering our site. I believe its to do with the proxy settings. I'm using the staff proxy on the SWGFL. Do I need to get any ports opened up by SWGFL to allow registration?
