This is absolutely not the case and is unfair. Not when all of your computers are pre-2013. Plus, you shouldn't have to "crowbar" onto the kit. Yes, you can add windows 11 on to unsupported hardware but as Microsoft said themselves, you may not get security updates, this is not something I'm willing to chance. - - - Updated - - - I think we are on around 165 new machines that are needed.

My pi runs everything in one system so I have the raspberry pi with Pi OS, Zabbix and Grafana then run a TV plugged directly into it too. Any changes I need to make I use Real VNC. Handy to have it in one box keeps it simple.

I've seen a few posts on here asking about network monitoring and ways in which you can do it. I have looked at many solutions but some didn't fit with what I needed or were too expensive for my budget. So, I started to look down the free and open-source routes. ] I know what I am about to suggest has been posted by others before but I wanted to highlight what you can do with a bit of time, effort and spare kit at no costing to your budget. The system I chose to use is Zabbix, you can find it here: https://www.zabbix.com/ You can download this as a virtual appliance, Linux box, raspberry pi image etc. There are plenty of different ways to install, they just don't do Windows, but don't let that put you off. the raspberry pi method is very easy if you do not know Linux. You will then need to configure DHCP etc. which I am sure you are capable to do through the UI. Which platform have you chosen? Invision Community is excellent and very well done. vBulletin is has turned awful, it will only be a matter of time before it's fully dead.

Just tested using outlook in safe mode and it automatically closes again.

I've got a very strange issue and I wondering if anyone had any ideas? We have two users who last term clicked on a dodgy email, we checked with sophos nothing on the machine and was sorted. Now, everytime the user opens Outlook it automatically closes. What is strange is that this is on ANY computer across the school (whether they have logged on there previously or not). This for me, discounts a PST issue or profile issue? Any ideas? Thanks

My biggest piece of advice is to stay clear of CC4. Go down the vanilla route, jobs are not forever and you want skills that are transferrable to other roles. Do not box yourself into a niche market.
