We are experimenting with Windows 11 built in dictation with EWP 22.10.14.1834 but cannot get the Windows dictation option to switch on (Windows + H). It looks like that whenever EWP is running the Windows key gets disabled. Does anyone know if this is expected behavior, and can it be changed/enabled?

I'm sure we tried this on an older version and it didn't work but it works on the current version so we will let students know that they can do this using AltGr. Thanks again.

Did you ever resolve this issue?

Thanks for the latest update....the work you have done and continue to do on this app is nothing short of fantastic. One question though..... is there no longer support for ctrl modifiers for foreign characters / accents? We haven't been able to get this to work at all since we started using v4.0.0.0

Does anyone have any idea where to fix the spelling mistake in the IP address lockout message that appears on the login page if too many failed attempts are made? Message says "Your IP Addresss has been banned from logging on until XX:XX" We've been using HAP+ (currently 10.5) for years and only recently has someone spotted the typo and told us about at

pfSense - Accessing web server from outside
rodsco replied to J_Worth's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Hi If you are using https as indicated in your post then the rule you have tried won't work. You might want to look at the reverse proxy option in pfSense. Rod -
It's definately downloading the correct file.

I had a bit of a panic earlier when according to the weblogs students were downloading files from a staff members document folder. Further testing shows that it might be a bug in the weblogs auditing. With no one logged on User A logs on and then dowload a file - weblog data shows the correct path for the file \\serverX\UserA\UserA test folder\filename User B logs on and dowloads a file but this time weblog data shows the path as \\serverX\UserA\UserB test folder\filename User C logs on and dowloads a file and again weblog data shows the path as \\serverX\UserA\UserC test folder\filename The files are actually downloading from the correct paths its just the log thats wrong. Is this something I have done wrong or something else?

I've tried on a few different devices including Google Nexus, HTC DHD and Samsung Galaxy Note - all with the same problem. The Note was brand new out of the box yesterday and the first thing I tried was downloading through HAP. iPad / iPhones work with no probelms, as do Windows PCs and Macs

Hi We have download and installed HAP+ 8.7 and works brilliantly - (thanks Nick) The only issue we have come across so far is when trying to download files to Android devices. Upload is fine, but when downloading the device appears to start downloading but never completes then eventually says 'Download Unsuccessful' Any ideas ? Rod

Maybe too simple but how about just running 'shutdown -r -t 3600' in the login script ? This will display a windows dialog box with a count down in seconds until reboot. Also might be worth a look ar PSSHUTDOWN, which offers more configuration options.

We use R2 to deploy printer based on location exactly as you are trying to do. I wasnt aware of any issue in moving a machine from one OU to another until I read your post. So this afternoon I've put it to the test. Thankfully all works as its supposed too. Only the printers assigned to the particular OU are available, and ones from previous OU's are gone. The only slight confusion was that after moving the computer and rebooting the first print dialog box that appeared sometimes listed the printers from the previous OU only. Closing the dialog box and trying again gave the correct list.

Heres a useful little free program for simple application and upgrade deployment. http://www.epsilonsquared.com/ It hasnt been upgraded for a while, but we still find it useful all the same.
