A teenager has been arrested in Merseyside following cyberattacks on Sony PlayStation and Xbox systems last year. The 18-year-old was held in Southport after a joint British and FBI-led operation on suspicion of unauthorised access to computer material. He was also detained for alleged threats to kill, the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) said. It was unclear whether the arrest related to the Christmas Day attack on Xbox and Sony which left millions of users offline. Deputy Chief Constable Peter Goodman, the national policing lead for cyber security at the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), said it was a "significant" arrest. He said: "This arrest demonstrates that we will pursue those who commit crime with the false perception they are protected within their own homes or hiding behind anonymous online personas." Investigators, supported by the National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU), said the operation also focused on alleged "swatting" offences. Swatting involves individuals giving hoax information online to law enforcement agencies in the US. The information suggests a threat exists so police respond with tactical units. Electronic and digital devices were seized by officers who arrested the teenager in Boundary Street, Southport. Craig Jones, head of the cyber crime unit at SEROCU, said: "We are pursuing cyber criminals using the latest technology and working with businesses and academia to further develop specialist investigative capabilities to protect and reduce the risk to the public. The Developer of the game wants them to pirate it! The co-creator of Hotline Miami 2 has told Australian fans to bypass their country’s banning of the game by pirating it. “If it ends up not being released in Australia, just pirate it after release,” Jonatan Söderströmm told a fan in an email subsequently published on Reddit. “No need to send us any money, just enjoy the game." How mad is that? A dev telling people pirate their software, I suppose with the success of HM1 they are all minted and i am pretty sure 60-80% of the people will go and buy the second one. Hi mattdlea how did you get on over Xmas? You probably played titanfall a bit, I did with a 5500 with low settings. Even managed to play Ryse SOR, but bought Elite and now i ended up buying an r9 290 so i can ramp up the settings! if you didn't upgrade your card and fancy some online gaming fast and frantic I suggest Counterstrike, looks a little dated but your card should be able to run this at a pretty good res!

Used to play PC games moons ago, got sucked in to the easy world of Console gaming! Always had a good PC for work stuff at home, started playing elite last week. Because of how much i enjoyed it i upgraded my graphics card r9 290 blah blah blah ... anyway back to Elite! I am just doing missions, the bit this game needs to be added is the play with your mates online, because flying in space can be a lonely existence. Also YOU MUST buy Voice packs! p.s. do not buy slaves and then try selling them via the mission that comes up! you will get robbed, hilarious watching my mate nearly cry when he lost all his money! We got this running 2 ways! we use a VDI (citrix in a box) have the database for 4 (yes 4 sites) accessible to any who has the rights to access them. all sites use a 100mb connection (we have 200mb) no speed issues on any sites We also have a VPN direct from those sites in to ours, that also achieves the same result.

Because we use youtube as a resource (all our learning is via VLE) learners are accessing other youtube channels and playing music full volume. I know this is a classroom management issue, but some teachers have a better classroom management technique than others we have removed the control panel and also volume control from task bar, but our keyboards have volume on them and they turn up and down via that. That is why i want to limit rather than mute. headphones are definitely a no,no as we do not want to spend all our ICT budget on replacing broken/stolen headphones.

If you printing off yourself easiest way is when year 11 pick up there exam results give them the photos then! if not collected on the day send them out with the certificates that's how we do it plus it gives you loads of time to get the images edited
