Another thumbs up for Spiceworks all tied in with AD, email works across our 5 sites (and 4 micro sites) Problem we do have with it is, we want a system that can also track premises issues, tried implementing Spiceworks to do this but can't get it to work as well as the IT side does.

The little green button... sounds promising... where can I find it?

It turns out those codes were stolen from EA Origin. Ubisoft told GameInformer that the keys were acquired from EA Origin using fraudulent credit card information “We confirmed activation keys were recently purchased from EA’s Origin store using fraudulent credit card information and then resold online,” Ubisoft said. “These keys may have been deactivated. Customers who may have been impacted should contact the vendor where they purchased the key for a refund.”

More Doom news this one looks good as well! Television program Mythbusters will take a look at the Doom franchise this weekend, to see if it's actually possible to carry all the in-game items available to the player. Could be like watching a game of buckaroo! The episode airs January 31st on Discovery.

Official line from Ubisoft. Ubisoft says it deactivated PC games this weekend that were ‘fraudulently obtained’. “We regularly deactivate keys that were fraudulently obtained and resold.” “In this case, we are currently investigating the origin of the fraud, and will update customers as soon as we have more information to share. In the meantime, customers should contact the vendor from whom they purchased the key.”

I never bought anything from either of those two companies, but I have bought keys from Simplycdkeys and Greenman gaming both of which heavily discount games probably due to the nature in which they get their keys (not saying illegally!) but when you cross check the prices with some of the dodgier sellers out there their price is not so far off! and go back a year and a half! Greenman gaming were nobodies! how do we know they are official suppliers or not?

thanks for comments so far! the brand was the only one the guy had in the shop! weird about drivers as I could play elite and titanfall for hours, but Ryse SOR and Assassins creed black flag only about 10 mins. I also couldn't charge my headset (wireless usb) so I think its PSU, Guy in shop said he would give full refund just got to go shopping again

Two issues really here! Issue one is a bit unfair! 1: If a member of the public is looking for a game to buy and they see one of these companies selling the game at a discounted price, chances are they are going to purchase it from them! but they have no idea they have just bought a grey version of the software! 2: I am well aware of the issue with grey imports (I used to own a computer games retail store) In an environment where charts make a big impact, selling games to foreign countries also adds to the UK sales figures (and Sale or return). I was in the situation where I knowingly bought games from a "grey importer" only for the games to be delivered STRAIGHT from the UK official supplier (they were the only ones allowed to sell the games in the UK! even had the UK suppliers paperwork) I have also been in the situation where another exclusive UK supplier has supplied me with foreign versions of the game, they denied it! but the evidence was the cover (it was FIFA and it had a German player on the front instead of the UK player!) So if the distributers get it wrong and the codes are revoked then there is also an issue!

so after purchasing a brand new graphics card (R9 290) getting it home finding out my PSU was not powerful enough. go to my local independent PC store, to be told yep this 750w supply will be powerful enough spend another hour stripping down installing new PSU, Drivers etc... only to find after 10-15 mins of play the PC would restart. On sunday I turn on BSOD (Win 7 not on by default) I want to confirm the card is not an issue so I run 3d benchmark...15 mins in to the test blank screen nothing, No power completely dead, so now I need to get another PSU any one got any recommendations and a good price? cheers

Some users who purchased digital copies of Far Cry 4 are logging in to Uplay to discover that their game has been deleted. Destructoid says that a number of Reddit and Ubisoft forum users are complaining that the game has simply vanished from their Uplay PC games library. The common theme seems to be that these games were purchased from G2Play and G2A! Keys typically come from official products, but the retailers in question are not ‘officially’ licensed to sell the keys in that form publisher Devolver Digital has previously said that it would cancel keys sold via G2Play. so guys, be careful where you buy you digital downloads from, that bargain could turn around and bite you in the bottom!

Nvidia reveals GTX 960 graphics Nvidia has revealed the next card in its hugely popular -60 series. The GTX 960 is said to be designed as an upgrade route for users of the firm’s GTX 660 GPU, which is among the outlet’s biggest-selling mid-range cards. The -60 series as a whole – 560, 660 and 760 – are the most popular graphics cards among Steam users. The new GTX 960 component features ‘Freeze’ technology, which will automatically shut off cooling fans when they are unnecessary – providing silent operation.Said to run a range of big PC titles including Watch Dogs and The Witcher 3 at a 1080p resolution with 60 frames-per-second performance, Nvidia particularly highlighted the suitability of the card for players of League of Legends and Dota 2, calling the 960 ‘perfect for MOBA gaming’.Nvidia stated as part of the 960 announcement that two-thirds of MOBA players are gaming on a GTX 660 or older, making the 960 card an ideal upgrade path for them. The firm also brought up the subject of the next iteration of Microsoft’s DirectX graphics engine, calling DirectX 12 ‘crucial for PC gaming’.The Nvidia GTX 960 card will be priced at $199 in the US, making it around £130 in the UK.
