Hi Thanks for the reply. Weirdly the file extensions are blocked on the Windows Server but entering the localadmin password on the Macs allows the files to be transferred and saved. I'm not sure what's going on there.

Hello, The pupils have files saved onto their Mac desktops and they're in the process of copying them to their home directory on the Windows server via the SMB share mount. When they try to copy .mov, iMovie or MP3 files, they're asked for the local admin password of the Mac before it can be transferred, otherwise access is denied. Copying of photos, word documents, etc works without the password. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
