  1. I've go a tricky one here - My company recently purchased a DLink DGS-3426P 24 port 10/100/1000 +4Gigabit shared port switch. On install I noticed that using certain ports, we could not pull DHCP. It looks like broadcast is being blocked on said ports. Anyway, I decided to have a look in the switch config. Now, the default IP is the IP that the unit has. But the default log in (leaving both u/n and p/w blank) doesn't seem to be working. Tried both telnet and the web (telnet connects, just can't authenticate). Could the manual be wrong on the default? I'm a bit sketched that this switch is an RMA unit or something as: A) It seems like someones played with the config on a few ports B)The default password seems to have been changed Oddly, the IP wasn't changed, though. So I guess my main question(s) are, does anyone know if the default logins should be blank; and if so, is there either a backdoor or a factory reset (that doesn't require admin). Is there a known break key for the Dlink switches? Cheers J
