Hi, We had the exact same issue as the OP You have to make sure your not installing it on the networked server directly, so dont remote onto the server it just install it from your current machine and browse to the location where you want to install it on the network. When we remoted onto the server we first we pointed the installation too.. "E:\Share\ Enquiry Faculty\Science\KS5\Chemistry\Examquest32\ExamQuest.exe" RA_CHEM However this was wrong as all the client machines shortcuts point too.... which is and is not the correct location so the shortcut wasnt really pointing to anything. "G:\Enquiry Faculty\Science\KS5\Chemistry\Examquest32\ExamQuest.exe" RA_CHEM So the shortcut was it was getting confused in the installation path. Just install it directly from your pc without going onto any servers and it will fix it.

I cant understand how Fathers out there can not do anything knowing theres a man who has broken his way into your own house while your wife and son/daughter is sleeping. Replacement Cameras are not really needed, our school found a way around it without having to buy a whole new kit You can still access the camera video files by doing the below instructions. It basicly turns the camera into a external HDD so you can access the files you want. * Switch on the Camera when it’s not connected to the PC * Hold down the Resolution button on the camera. * Plug in the camera while still holding the Resolution button. * You will notice a new drive mounted in your 'Computer' folder called 'Removable Disk'. * Double-click to open it, then open the 'DCIM' folder > '100MEDIA' folder. * You can now drag the movies out of that folder and into any location you wish, double click the files individually to view them.

I get the same problem, however the Printing Spooler doesnt even start, no matter how many times you start or restart it the service just turns off. The only way around i have found is just to rebuild the PC and install the printer again.

I see these ALL the time, mostly they are a scam to make you download the software and pay money to them. Any Techy should be able to spot it instantly and know whats going on. Could anyone upload a screenshoot of what it looks like on your desktop once it all comes up? it might be a good idea to use it as a example to show teachers when it happens

The Students here have still managed to get around the filtering system, they can save that game as a MHTML Document (.mht) on a USB disk. However we have blocked the file extension from running from machines. This is a problem which some of you might face even though you have blocked it from filtering.

Hi all, I'm having some problems accessing the Itunes store, does anyone know if we have to allow a Itunes store address to our filter list to allow it to connect to the intergrated Itunes store within Itunes? It could be some Proxy settings we have to allow? Thanks in advance

Hi All, I'm a IT Technician at a school for just over a year and i want to further my knowledge within IT. I would say i have a fairly good knowledge of IT in general but want to know more about Networking and general IT Techy things. Could you please recommend me some IT courses to take (home courses too!) I have installed Skeep 1.4 and im having some problems. I can connect to any machine on our network fine without any problems however i cant control the PC at all. I have the same settings on my machine as my work colleagues so i cant seem to understand why mine doesnt work. i have tried reinstalling Skeep and thats still doesnt fix the issue. Is there anything in Services i need to enable?

you cant just block USB ports or pens at schools anymore, nearly all students use them to save work onto.

To view videos on the Flip itself you dont have to run the software. Once the Flip is in put inside USB port it should create a new drive in My Computer, click on the new drive then follow the folders until you can access the videos directly and just play them.

We have just installed Skeep and it seems to be working perfectly however we are missing some information from the main window. We have the list of our Computer Names which display fine so we can deploy VNC and view etc but the Username, IP addess and MAC address dont appear up. Also the small icon doesnt show if the PC is online or not. (always shows logged off) Is there something we must do to make these appear up? We installed the server parts directly onto our machines
