  1. Its got the makings of a decent VLE but seems to be plagued by incompatibility with browser issues and I have to say their support is quite poor
  2. arr there's a group of us from support staff that were on it regularly until the PSN died but back on tonight!! lvl 36 is my top on kino so far... it gets a bit long winded after a while though
  3. Do you play on xbox or PS3?
  4. Would you consider West Yorkshire? My Partner and myself have been hoping to move out to New Zealand in the next few years but this would be a great opportunity to get a taster before we fully commited
  5. You could look into the Microsoft Threat Management Gateway 2010 subscription. I believe its roughly £1.40 per PC on a 12 month subscription basis this would give a good base layer of protection
  6. I'm looking at implementing a Service Desk at our school and now need to draft up a SLA. Does anyone have one they would be willing to share or be able to point me in the right direction of any good available resources? Thanks
  7. Hi We had something similar to this we found it to be a broken link, one of the programs shortcuts in the start menu didn't have the actual software installed on the PC if you get what I mean haha... Hope this helps

    Hot Keys

Does anybody know of a way to stop hot keys, I have stoped the Intel graphic hot keys using the intel software but we are having a particular problem with the Shift + Alt + Print Screen combination which we have found inverts the colours of the screen and the only way to change back is rebuilding the PC as it seems to get stuck. Any Idea's?
  9. I like that idea plexer, do you know of a way of maybe specifying the source folder to be copied into the h: drive. I'll explain why, client files originally are on the server it is a folder full of specific files required for facility to run, also a place for user specifics on facility to be stored. The idea in placing this folder on the H drive is to allow these user specific settings to roam with the user which is the reason why we are doing this slightly different to danIT.
  10. We have just changed our MIS to Serco facility from sims. Facility requires there to be a folder called client files to be in each users my documents folder, I have already manually copied the folder into a few users folders but we have quiet a few admin staff who require access. My thought is there must be an easier way of doing this and was wondering if anyone out there had done this task before and may have a script available or a great piece of software. I should mention our servers are on 2003. Your help is much appreciated Scott
  11. Thanks for your advice and experiences guys I am venturing towards the Cisco kit, we do have the budget for it so I suppose it's better to get the best kit for that money. Just to confirm the security we will be putting in place will be WPA auth and Radius Cheers
  12. I'm looking at covering our whole site with wireless, the two main providers I'm interested in are 3com and Cisco. I have already had the survey carried out which came to the conclusion that we would require 32 AP's. After receiving quotes from both 3com and Cisco the difference in price is approx 5k obviously the Cisco solution been the most expensive. I was wondering if anybody else has experience of both solutions out there and may be able to justify that it's worth spending the extra 5k for Cisco or if anyone can reasssure me that although the 3com solution is cheaper it is still of a good standard Cheers
  13. Sorry maybe I should re-word that I meant to say that we are very happy to get rid of RM, sooner the better in my eyes!
  14. I have been asked to plan a migration away from RM CC3 this summer which as a IT team we are very happy with. We would like to install our own vanilla system with XP and server 2003 and was wondering if anybody out there has been through the same process and may have some advice on things to watch out for or reputable consultants with experience in this field. Scott
