The rules for 5 players is that both Italy and Germany are in Civil disorder (pieces on the board that don't move). 6 players = Italy only in disorder. 4 players is a bit different.. 1 person plays England, and the other 3 play 2 countries each (Austria and France; Italy and Russia; Germany and Turkey) I will start a new "Game5" at approx 8:30 tonight with the number of players that have expressed an interest at that point (currently 4)...

OK, still only 3 players for Game4... should we cancel this game and start a 3-player game (instead of waiting for 4 more players) ???? There are special rules for <7 players, btw: Play Diplomacy Online • View topic - PlayDiplomacy short-handed game rules (<7 players) Or is anyone else interested in Game4 still? (or even 1-2 more to join in a <7 player game?)

2nd! Some schoolboy errors 4-5 turns back sealed my fate. Well played chaps! http://www.playdiplomacy.com/view_image.php?game_id=58789&gdate=25¤t_phase=N

I was at my free limit. You can pay-what-you-like for Premium, with the lower limit being £1. I thought it was worth a quid....
-
OK, Game 4 created... (you can only join 3 games with the free account, so I've had to buy premium membership to go into a 4th game ) Name: EduGeek 4 Password: nosurrender 24hr turns, but as usual, many players would appreciate it if you could finalise sooner wherever possible Random countries
-
OK, so not many takers for a new 12hr game... anyone else (including the 2 that were keen for a 12hr game) keen for another 24hr game then?
-
Would you be interested in joining Game 4 if it were 24hr turns, @ICTDirect_Dave?
-
Well thats 3 for game 4... Anyone else?
-
Turns can be 12 or 24 hours, not 8 sorry. I'd also want to make sure players would use the "Name a substitute" feature and let someone else take over rather than just surrendering. I'm also thinking picked countries, rather than random, so the players would be happy with their starting position. Who is keen please? And whats your preference on turn times?
-
Anyone keen for a Game 4? I'm guessing some of the ones who have surrendered from other games did so because they hadn't fully understood the rules yet and got off to bad starts?
-
What's with all the surrendering??

New Connection Provisioning - Advice Needed

Draw their attention to RFC1925, Point 7a... -
Game 3 created. EduGeek3 password = geektastic 12hr turns - but players must *try* and do turns quicker if they can Countries = random
-
I'd be happy to go into a third game, as long as the players agreed to *try* not to make everyone wait 24hrs every time... (I'm sad, and check the game far too often)
-
/me sends @vortex999 a postcard from Sweden (seeing as he's tried to visit it for the last 3 turns) Orders submitted and finalised. Only 23.5hrs to wait until the next turn (because someone isnt finalising)
-
As soon as all 7 players finalise, it goes to the next turn. So someone hasn't finalised......
-
Were the results of this competition ever announced? Do we get to see some of the entries etc?
-
Just waiting for @SimpleSi to confirm in game 2...

Managed to get the names concatenated by using a + instead of an &. I also tried populating the Email field and using that but it gets left blank for some students... the pattern seems to be if the students have multiple teachers teaching the same subject, and it doesn't list all the teachers email addresses, even if it DOES list all the teacher names on the same report. I'm really not liking Facility...

It looks like France and Russia haven't moved. I wonder if those chaps didn't click FINALISE ? I've joined game two too... It hasn't started yet and still needs 2 more players... D'oh!
