Sorry to jump in...I am trying to hide the mouse (pointer) when using Xibo. It keeps displaying in the middle of the screen. Does anyone have an idea\utility that will make is disappear when there is no activity please?

Most members of leadership teams are non specialist and do not know the benefits\features. Getting an audience to tell them what the benefits\features are is another issue!

To be honest my friend that is a good position to be in! You should never champion an IT department so saying to other staff look what MFL & PE are doing is more likely to enthuse than look what the IT department has done and get the response...'well they all know what hey are doing'!

Personally just access to their child's Learning Platform courses\work, however I don't yet have SLT's views on this. I suspect this will be a debate that will run & run for a while!?

Whilst I understand the need for this parental access and of course will comply somehow...if am thinking initially to go the current Parent Role Hack in Moodle but how would you guys manage the parents logins? I currently use LDAP integration. Would you set the parents up in your AD or manually?

We use AccessIT too. Still have some initial set issues (link to SIMS) but fundamentally a good system.

Hum...that maybe right but as previously covered in this thread I did get an instant headache soon after leaving the tented area and could possibly have misheard the rep with his quotes...

You are right there are not many demo site out there! What I have done is installed XAMPP on a memory stick and run Moodle 2 on there. That way you can have a poke around and even test your existing Moodle (If you have one?) in the conversion\theme\content etc. It so far it has helped me to pick a few issues I may have when the stable release comes out - just an idea?
