When I get this problem I open up command prompt and do ipconfig renew. Seems to help it along a little for me.

Ill try that later on. I looked on the security tab on the folder. It's got down. Is it missing anything for group policy? (Prime the file server. In the administrators group the staff group are listed in there :/ ) -

All set as it should. It's in the user area of group policy. I tired using replace instead of update but nothing's changed. -
Got a slight problem with a users mapped drive to a central area (Q drive is seen by all staff and not the kids. There are some folders that have permissions set for some staff to edit and modify and other folder that staff dont have access (bar a few) Since i start moving people over to GPP instead of script it wont let modify any files at all on our Q drive. Move the user back to the login script and it works fine... Im guessing that the permissions are the problem in GPP but cant see anything. HELP! please

ok. as im not rushing around now. When staff are looking at password protected documents on the network drive. Its just opening up as a read only rather than asking for password. This is only effeting users that i have moved over to my Windows 10 GPP. Evertone still on the old login stript works fine?

Got a slight problem with my windows 10 users. I've setup a new group policy (with network drives being mapped via user preferences) When a user saves a file on a network drive it saves it as a read only when you reopen it. If there a password attached to the file it won't ask but open as a read only Is there a tick box I'm missing?
