  4. The councils ICT section is looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide technical support to schools who have signed up to the councils “Technical Support” service level agreement. The successful applicant will visit schools during their allotted time slot and provide the technical lead; maintaining their server/client infrastructure and optimizing their ICT provision throughout the school including but not limited to wireless systems and emerging mobile technology. The successful applicant must be able to work under pressure and with little supervision, managing their own workload in what is very much an autonomous role. A customer centric ethos is also a must as almost all of the time will be spent dealing directly with customers. Excellent IT skills are essential especially experience of using Microsoft Server/Client Technologies and Mobile Device Management systems. Any history of providing ICT support in an educational environment would be advantageous as would previous experience of working in a distributed LAN/WAN environment. 5. Did you find a solution to this? We are having the same issue with 140 of these laptops which were provisioned over the summer. We have tried updating the bios etc... but haven't had any joy. They seemed ok at first but then a couple of weeks into term the reports started to come in about incorrect date.
  6. Everyone has modify access to the classroombookings directory under wamp so yeah, they have full write access to the temp directory, assuming that is the temp directory that you mean? Thanks for the help so far, appreciate it.
  7. Im still getting the same error, ive attached a screenshot of the whole error that i get.
  8. I have commented out the above mentioned statement in the users file but i still cant import a csv file. I now get this message : A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Warning Message: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() Filename: libraries/Upload.php Line Number: 510 Im looking into this one now.
  9. Has anyone had any joy importing users into classroombookings? Whenever I try and import a CSV file it tells me it is not an allowed file format? How has everyone else got their users on the system?
  10. It sprung into life when I enabled the rewrite module of Apache server! Looking good so far, seems to do everything we want it to do. Reporting section would be good, guess we'll have to wait a little while. Roll on V2.
  11. Its windows, sorry should have said.
  12. Hi, Ive got classroombookings running okish but im new to apache and php so without sounding stupid(hopefully) how do i give apache server permissions to the folders specified in the installation instructions?
  13. I've gone through the documentation and tried to deploy CS3 via a script but without a hint of success. I get exit code 7. Ive created the application.xml.override file with the relevant info. The install.xml and uninstall.xml files are in place. Whats going wrong?
  14. Java has suddenly kicked back into life, one of the weirderst things ive ever had to deal with. In the end it looks like a hotfix for ISA 2006 sorted it out. Don't know if i can be bothered investigating and understanding the problem, ive used up enough of my sanity already with this one!
  15. the java\deployment folder is in "username\appdata\locallow" folder which is only created at logon. Deleting this for a domain user doesn't have any effect. I suspect that the issue with the local admin accounts may be down to authentication through ISA so im goin to test this later on today and hopefully eliminate any web filtering that is going on as the cause. The bumph from the java console when we try and access a java web applet looks like this(from the java.com test page) : load: class testvmDynamicJavaComPopUp819.class not found. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: testvmDynamicJavaComPopUp819.class at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Caused by: java.io.IOException: Authentication failure at sun.net.http://www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown Source) at java.net.HttpURLConnection.getResponseCode(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.getBytes(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.access$000(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) ... 7 more Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: testvmDynamicJavaComPopUp819.class It seems to me that when you try and get any troubleshooting info on this kind of thing you are lost unless you are a java developer!
