Hi, I am looking for a remote access solution that allows access into our network to get to file shares and SIMS. I've tried the LogMeIn's and free TeamViewer software but to me they are clunky and require the users' PC to always be on. Installed Remote Desktop Services and this entered me into a licensing nightmare. If anyone has any experience in a solid solution, please let me know. Thanks Ellis

Hi, Having a strange issue with our Data Manager unable to reset user passwords despite her having System Manager permissions the same as me, I can reset passwords and create users fine. Ploughed through the Permissions list and 'Reset Passwords' doesn't have an option. Manage Users - Run comes under System Manager permissions. Anyone know what access the user needs to change passwords? Thanks

Hi, I urgently need to set up a spare ASA 5505 we have as a direct router between our external internet connection and our internal private network. 10.x.x.x Network -> Default Gateway ASA 10.x.x.3 -> 'outside' network 82.x.x.x I have set as many Allow rules as I can but still cannot get anything from a 10.x.x.x system out onto the internet. is there a way of just having the 5505 act as a simple router and allow everything back and forth? Hi, This is very general and apologies quite vague but Im hoping some may know this experience. One 'critique' that has been experienced with IT Support is that of feeding back to staff on resolving an issue or ensuring they are happy with the service provided. We have a helpdesk with a simple feedback column but the onus is that they need to check it. Were increasingly facing staff as our customers. Does anyone have suggestions of how feedback to busy staff members can be improved for an IT support department? Good ways or working process that staff like? Thanks

Hi, I have a few machines that refuse to upgrade over Solus 3 despite everything tried in the book. I normally use the old method of running from the old central installation. This central SIMSINST installation hasn't updated and puts the old version on. Anyone know how to get this updated? Is there something in Solus 3 Im missing to do this? Thanks

Ive read and seen screenshots of IE10 appearing in the Group Policy Preferences -> Internet settings section Been told to update the Central GPO Store, done and still hasn't worked.

Hi I have been battling to set up IE 10 correctly on our Server 2008 R2 SP1 box. I've got down to Group Policy Preferences -> Internet Settings -> but Internet Explorer 10 is not an option. It only goes up to IE8 I've installed inetres for IE10 on the GPO templates. Any ideas on how to get the option for IE10 in Group Policy Preferences. Thanks

Hi, I am having problems trying to install IE10 as an upgrade onto one users Windows 7 64 bit. Works fine as Admin and IE10 is there but on one user, every update runs, installs and reboots but IE9 is still there. Any ideas how to get rid of IE9 once and for all and run IE10? Thanks
