  1. Try SchoolBooking Room & Resource Booking system there is a free version for up to a certain number of users. You can import your timetable and rooms.
  2. Steinberg said "Each computer should have one individual license. If they ghost the computers, not only Cubase Elements 6 will not run, but it will corrupt the soft-eLicenser. The best thing to do will be: Install Cubase Elements 6 and then uninstall the eLicenser Control Center. Then copy the computers. After that download and install the latest version of the eLicenser Control Center Latest Downloads-elicenser.net Then license each one individually. " This may help with the teacher PC.
  3. Steinberg said "the Soft-eLicenser that is created to hold the license on each system differs. But to me it sounds like you simply want to make a fresh installation of Cubase Elements on several systems which should work. However, the installations need to be permanently activated on each individual system which can only be done manually." I think what they are saying is you can roll-out the software across several machines, but you will need to manually activate each copy. But if we make an installer package which basically just replicates an install and what ever else you want, the activation could be part of that package.
  4. The elicencer is a usb dongle? I recently bought one from a supplier to transfer the licence from a blue parallel dongle. I had to send a photo of the blue to steinberg and they were to send an activation key. I was expecting this to take ages but I had it the activation code next day.
  5. We are also looking at getting Cubase elements 6 and installing on PCs on a network. The query I have is if we buy say 20 multi user licences how are the licences handled is it one licence or 20 different licences numbers as we want to package it up and install that way rather than having to visit each machine to install.
  6. We are looking at PS Financials as over 33% of Academies use it. http://www.psfinancials.com/ps_financials_for_academies.html It does need SQL though, but can be on a virtual server and can also have a web portal - so those that are having other schools join them in a trust eg primaries would only need one purchase of software.
  7. The one we are looking at is PS Financials which apparently a lot of academies use.
  8. Does anyone know how to renew the certificate used in 24hrschool? Where do I find it - is it on the ISA server?
  9. I've solved this now with the help of BTL. Only needed to delete a couple of XML files and everything now works. I must say that I have never had a problem getting through to the support. The set up was very straight forward and so far we are very happy with the exams certainly a huge improvement on the ICT KS3 tests.
  10. We have only run these with small numbers of students and have not had many problems until today. I launch the exambase server - icon put on the systray, but when I move the cursor over the icon, the icon disappears. I can't therefore download exams, candidates or schedule exams. So far the support has not been able to help. I have rebooted the server that the software is installed on. I can't see any messages in the logs that would cause this. Any one any ideas, other than reinstalling.
