Nope, the best way is to customise the masterpage and add custom css which overrides the default CSS. That way when a new release comes out you don't have to worry about your customisations going away.

Seems to be a load issue, as my Win 10 Pro activated last night (around midnight)
-
It's still there from what I can see, it's add a family member, then choose child

For the last one, you can switch Command Prompt and Powershell in the Taskbar/Startmenu Settings (right click propertieis), under navigation (been there since 8.1) - - - Updated - - - My annoyance is the fact that I can't seem to correctly activate my OS, on either my upgraded PC or my surface pro 3 (which was insider upgraded)

Add your external domain(s) as additional UPN suffixes in AD Domains & Trusts Then you need to set all of your users to use the correct UPN Suffix. You will still get prompted for an email address/password if you are using anything other than internet explorer, Office on a domain PC.

[sims] Printing Timetables - 5 lessons to 7 lesson days
nickbro replied to Sylv3r's topic in MIS Systems
You need to re-apply the timetable as you have made a change to the cycle. Also make sure you upload the cycle -
Question 1, yes you just need to ensure that you have the HAP+ Quota Service installed on the server(s) and configured both the service and HAP+ to map things: \\SERVER\%username%$ \\SERVER.crick.internal\%username%$ \\SERVER.crick.internal\%username%.$ Hap looks at the UNC path to get the server drive to process, or if your using DFS set the DFS target to one of the master servers - - - Updated - - - Question 2, the drive letter needs to be unique unfortunately

Error when trying to connect to shared folders
nickbro replied to cooper's topic in Home Access Plus+
Check you have enabled that users can logon locally, that's usually the something is wrong error. -
Log a ticket, then when you answer it you have the option to set as FAQ
-
Which version of HAP+ are you running? Looks to be an old version where there was a typo in that line, it should be parseInt
-
Hmm, make sure the url you use is https://hap.school.domain/hap/ <- end with a forward slash

The only issue with installation directly from the web is adding nbdev.uk to the trusted sites list, it will even auto updated every 7 days or so
-
It would need installing on each machine you wanted to use it on. I can provide a ZIP of the installation to make it quicker (saves having to do the trusted site hack)
-
It probably does, but I'm 2013 only now (even at work thanks to EES), so don't have 2010 to test against. You may find the plugin works with office 2010 but I cannot guarantee that.
-
Exactly, I'm using the O365 sharepoint integration more and more, useful for files not sync'd on that Alpha build: Word 2013 Add-in - nb development

Hey guys/gals, just wanted to get your feedback on something I started playing with last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozL7ox0NKpA

Contact your ISP, you will need to get a domain name (can be a sub domain name, hap.school.lea.sch.uk). You will then need either a reverse proxy for that domain or dedicated IP.
-
good to hear
-
Ok, looks like you have deleted a lot of the live tiles from the homepage tab, you may want to delete the config and start again, or check the config has a load of tiles
-
Unless your using the helpdesk/booking system you don't need to do anything with the OUs
-
Delete the hapConfig.xml file from the app_data folder
-
That error code is a generic AD permission error, not HAP+ specific, try restarting IIS. Is the server a member server
-
You need an SSL certificate which matches your external address, e.g. hap.school.lea.sch.uk
-
Ok, that looks like IIS isn't configured correctly, check the binding information, and the SSL certificate is installed
