The Public facing IP is set to the Network card. This is how i had it running on my laptop. I have the same set up on the server with the only difference of operating system i.e. Laptop XP server 2003

i can see the site locally like that, but it is a site that will soon need to be live and it will not show via the public facing ip which is the problem

ok, im trying to get a website running using Wamp server on a server 2003 box. IIS is not running only WAMP. i have given the box a public facing IP and installed a joomla site inside the WWW folder. for some reason, when going to the public facing address the site can not be seen, however, when i do the same on my laptop the site can be seen?! Is there something on Server 03 that needs to be checked for me to be able to see the site? Thanks

the session ID is also Underlined for some reason. Is this normal or is it telling me that it is that field that is the proplem. Ive clicked Edit and this is what it says ALTER TABLE `jos_session` CHANGE `client_id` `client_ID` VARCHAR(200) CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci NOT NULL DEFAULT '0'

I do have access to the PHPMYadmin. I can see a "Session_ID" but no "Client_ID" column.

How would i change that so there is no space? As i said, my knowledge is not good with PHP and PHPMyadmin

Hi all. Here at the school we host a few sites and one of which runs using Apache and PHPMyAdmin. For some reason the following message has appeared and we dont know why. jtablesession::Store Failed DB function failed with error number 1054 Unknown column 'client_id' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( 'f262b7dd736b310fd841351c1946a69f','1278519931','','0','1','0' ) (http://www.kidsgrovescouts.com) This is running on Joomla 1.0. We have not had a problem with this before and i have read a few forums and still, the problem continues. My knowledge is very little to non when it comes to PHP so any help or solutions on this matter will be greatly welcomed!!! Cheers.

Haha lol. Just worked out why it was stalling and shutting down. AFter checking the event logs we have found that we left it in the AD group which has lots of MSI's for deployment on build and was hanging as windows 7 does not like our MSI's and so it was restarting after each one had failed. Thanks for all your help guys!

Thats the problem. We cant login after restart as it just shuts down before you get chance to login. We have been able to narrow it down to the Reeltek control panel but as for why this is effecting it so badly we are not sure!

Hi, We are moving our network over to Windows 7 and just testing which machines will and will not run it. We have some old acer travel mate 4220's which will install it and run windows 7 and allow login via the network however, when logging off and logging in as someone else it hangs for about 5 mins and shuts down. On restart it does not gove the login screen and once again hangs and shuts down . Any ideas as to why?? Thanks Guys and Girls!!

I am transferring our website from a physical machine to a virtual machine. It is running Windows Server 2003, IIS 6, PHP 5.2.13 (zip package) and MySQL Community Server (Release: 5.1.48) All of the above are clean fresh installations however, when copying my Joomla site over to the new server and going to localhost it comes up with the following error PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 01ACAB4A it has also come up before with something about the "mysql" adapter not been found??

Is there a way i can "Exchange" my ActiveStudio key for the ActivInspire key?

Hey We have Promethian and Activstudio and we are planning to move to windows 7 this summer hol. We are testing all of our current software on a Win7 machine and are having compatability issues with the ActivStudio and Promethian software. Is there any other version of ActiveStudio that we could run using our current licence but that would run on Windows 7? Looked on the Promethian website and lets just say, a monkey could tell me more about the software than they could.... Cheers
