  1. £6.90 ??
  2. Id love a can am renegade hoody relating to quad biking !!
  3. Can I long term borrow one ??
  4. @CPLTD - which monitor and how much, also how much for the other parts I am after, just wondering if they could do a bundle deal , that way getting everything from one place , one lot of shipping costs etc ?
  5. @Arthur 1) Looks good - just curious ref a few things A) If the cpu prices go down would I be better getting a 4960K i5 for £183 or if the i7 4770K goes down enough, would I be better getting the 4770K i7 cpu instead of the devils canyon i5 ?? B) I was hoping for the 250gb 840 evo C) Most important thing - Need a suggestion ref a 22" monitor ( possibly a little smaller ) as I would prefer a smaller but better quality monitor than a 24" one for more money PC Part Picker I have put together ( not sure what the case is like ) and I have left off the screen, keyboard and mouse as not sure which ones to get. NZXT Phantom 240 - NZXT Minus Screen / KB + Mouse - RenegadeMe's Saved Part List - PCPartPicker United Kingdom without a screen, keyboard and mouse comes to : £454.16 Although maybe a little cheaper if I went with the 120gb Samsung 840 evo instead of the 250 one ?? Edited - Just noticed that the 1TB WD RE3 is £59 instead of the £35 it showed a few days ago The original parts list I got suggested was the below http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/RenegadeMe/saved/G6yV3C Although with the price of the 1tb drive having gone up , maybe swap it for a 2tb Toshiba ( like you suggested instead of the 1tb WD RE3 ) ?? That is still excluding a screen , keyboard and mouse though, Also ignore the CPU in that part list as still trying to decide which cpu as per above ref the prices going down due to devils canyon etc
  6. An iPad that can multi boot OSes like the apple macs so linux / windows / ios etc
  7. no LCD Display in my car, only display in my car shows total miles the engine / car has done, two route trips A and B which tally up the miles you have done until you reset it and out side temp No date or time and none of the other stuff If I can get that ODB 2 jobby for 3 quid and a few quid for an app on my iOS phone ( apple iphone ) then may get and use that
  8. Presume this is an android only thing or can you get an app from the app store on iOS Devices ?
  9. I use iOS aka apple so do not have an android device , plus that wont show me Miles Per Gallon, how many miles I have left with the amount of fuel in the car etc etc
  10. I wouldn't mind something that was universal as far as connecting to the car with an LCD Screen so it would show similar info to what newer cars have ref how many more miles you can drive, typical miles per gallon that you would get depending on how you are driving ie how fast etc, outside temp, date / time and any other useful info I've got a 2001 car and it doesnt show me this, also maybe could link it into the cars ECU to show any errors ie engine errors etc
  11. Maybe a usb chargeable battery like an anker battery so you could charge said battery up when ever you cycle and then use this to charge other devices when not cycling so phones etc
  12. Not sure if you can access or use this link but : September 2nd, 1982 - You're Getting Old!
  13. ok scratch my idea then - Don't want to damage any properties whilst doing a paint job
  14. If it was accesable on the internet and had logon details to authenticate then only you could access and get it to boil or whatever ? Then it is only a case of getting the mobile device whether a phone / tablet / laptop etc to access it regardless of being on 3G / WiFi etc
  15. I was thinking something like this : Although it would need suction cups or some way of being attached to the ceiling, that or some way to allow it to move up and down or left and right ? However this would only allow for flat surfaces as far as I know
  16. A network kettle that has a web server on it so you can get to a web GUI to control it ie what time to boil or even access it via your mobile phone so you can get it to boil before you get home etc ?? Although may need to some how connect it to a water source so as to ensure it does not run out of water and maybe even have an in built water filter
  17. A little Robot similar to the window washer ones but to be used for painting walls and self cleans the brushes and the tubes inside so that if you want to use a different colour of paint or type of paint etc ie gloss etc that it doesnt get the paints mixed up ?
  18. One more year and we will be in binary numbers !!!
  19. Looks like the 4690K then. Thanks
  20. How would that G3258 special edition cpu do with the tasks im trying to do ? Can leave doing video transcoding for now
  21. Usung that pc parts picker tonight to see how much I need to save in total Any sugestions on a keyboard + mouse. I used to have the keyboard and mouse combo by logitech mx5 which I loved other than pairing was a pita. Most likely go with usb cabled but so much choices on all components
  22. Saving and getting the parts at once is a good suggestion so will have to do that. Not a lot but I don't mind waiting 10 mins or more to do those kind of tasks Hopefully in a couple of years the cpu's will go down in price Thank you @Arthur and @nephilim
  23. Are there any LGA 1150 Xeons and how do they perform vs the i5 or i7??
  24. Where am I then, just curious
  25. Which cpu would be better so I can learn more about server os, exchange , powershell or maybe even hyper v ( on server 2008 or 2012 ) etc etc using VM's ie virtual box?? Basically gonna use it for that , video transcoding ie handbrake to convert between formats and gaming Thinking the 4690K for £183 as that seems to perform similar to the i7 and is a bit cheaper and can be OC'ed a bit Do I need to buy any screws / seperators etc to screw the psu and mobo into the case or what exactly ? Gonna go for the 750D obsidian , seeing as I will buy one item at a time, will get the cpu last
