I have been in touch with Capita but they want to set up a remote session but this isn't ideal. I have asked them today what they will do so I can have a look myself.

Think this thread is going in the wrong direction. I'm referring to the SQL backup path which is used when running dbUpgrade. Its showing incorrectly in System Manager 6 and this is the only place within SIMS you can view this path. I have checked the Registry and again all seems to be pointing to the right SQL path as mentioned in my opening query. Any more ideas greatfully received.

Couldn't find anything in the binn folder Will check Capita tomorrow. We don't use system manager 6 but this seems to be the only place where the backup path shows in SIMS and is still used when using dbattach.

I have checked the SIMS.ini and the SQL path is correct in here as well.

Hi We have installed SQL 2012 on a SIMS server. I have checked all settings in SQL Studio Management Studio and this all points to the new SQL 2012 path ie D:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.SIMS2012\MSSQL\Backup but in System Manager 6 it still shows the old SQL 2008 backup path ie D:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.SIMS\MSSQL\Backup\. Any ideas gratefully received.
