Hi all, Just a quick question about the setup of aspects and resultsets within SIMS. We currently have a mix match of both of the examples below, depending on key stage and what it is used for, which I would like to redo them so all are the same. But I'm wondering which is the correct way if we wish to use tracking grids etc which we do not currently use. 1. Aspects: Maths Resultsets: Capture1 - Current Level Capture1 - Predicted Level Capture1 - Effort Capture2 - Current Level Capture2 - Predicted Level Capture2 - Effort 2. Aspects: Maths - Current Level Maths - Predicted Level Maths - Effort Resultsets: Capture1 Capture2 Or is there another way that I'm missing!?! Thanks in advance

Hi all, Been having major issues with the OpenVPN connections on our server. We use hosted SLG and a couple of months ago had InTouch installed. At what appears to be random intervals both OpenVPN connections drop and then fail to reconnect, or says it's reconnected but we cannot access. We have to use the GUI to disconnect/reconnect to get both connections going again. We have upgraded the OpenVPN software to the latest version but problem persists. We use our LA for internet, could the problem be their end? Of course this time of year teachers use the SLG to access reports and if it fails in the evening (went at 6pm yesterday) they are unable to access it. SIMs SupportNet have been next to useless regarding this. Had a case log open for over two weeks now and the most they have done is ask for a log file. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what we can look for?

Hi all, looking for some advice regarding setting up assessment marksheets in sims which we are transfering from our present PHP/MySQL system. Basically we record two marks per term (one grade, one mark) for every class in every subject all using the same template. The training I received for this was back in March at which time I was too busy setting up everything else so haven't dabbled with it till now I was hoping that I could just create a generic template and apply that to all classes, but from experimenting and reading on here am I right in assuming that each subject and yeargroup requires individual aspects which can then be used for a template for classes within that subject and yeargroup? If this is the case is there a simple way to create these en mass? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice
