I seem to be missing devices.. in one section says I have 75 - but when I drill down none are appearing with my filter all cleared! I'll email then now! Thanks.

Where about is the setting to deprovision hiding then.. I don't seem to have that option!

I was thinking similar.. just make sure every PC is licensed with Win 10 Edu (or similar edition) initially and drop yearly subscription payments for it..

Should we be considering moving PCs to o365 ProPlus now? We currently install Office 2016 Volume License and use KMS to activate on PCs. Thoughts welcome!

We are using Equitrac Express - and I want to allow others access to System Manager for adjusting balances/printing reports- how do you do it? Do you let them have access to server or can software be installed on their PC? Thanks,

Thanks - we only found out this was an issue recently - but the policies fixed it!

I have setup my homefolders for pupils like:- \\server\homefolders$\username\My Documents - permission to read attributes, traverse, create folders, list folders (this folder only) Which is working as expected... However, the users H:\ drive is called H:\server\homefolders$\username\My Documents - so a nosey pupil can then create a shortcut to the above path - but then go up levels until they reach homefolders.. And make new folders! How do you do it? If I could rename H:\ that would 'hide' the full path from users.. Thanks, Optimus

Hi - Our County provide us with a proxy server for all requests - and with the addition of new laptops we have started to think about a wpad system. Looking at scripts around this forum - we've put a test one in place that appears to work well - however - we should be using different ports for different protocols eg: http: 8080 https: 8070 ftp: 2121 Anyone know of a method for specifying different ports in a pac file? Got it to work in the end... my old server was 32bit and the new one was 64bit - so after I copied over 'my.ini' from the old server - the ini file was pointing to the wrong path for the MySQL service! Easy to overlook the basics! Thanks for your help! Optimus

Hi - we have had a server with our Moodle go down.. and our backup wasn't the greatest! We have never scripted a MySQL dump file... Is it possible to restore the Moodle database by copying over the MySQL data folder - when we do this - the MySQL service fails to start. If we put in just the MySQL \ Data \ moodle folder - MySQL service starts - but we can't see the tables in PHPmyAdmin, Any help appreciated!!

I had a similar issue.. but can't exactly be sure how I resolved it.. Try: User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar\Do not search programs - Disabled I also found that my test user kept the old setting - but making a new test user - things started to work. Almost as if the GPO was cached..

Hello, I have got my database and scripts all working correctly... but am struggling with the website config. We are using IIS6 with .net 4 installed. The home page opens correctly and presents two options - Search History or iSpy - when we click those links we get: Error message 401.2.: Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration Which I presume is down to the config in the web.config file? My database connection line is: Any help appreciated! Thanks
