Thanks I'll give that a go but just wondered how you add that URL pattern as I keep getting "Validation failed because "youtubeeducation\.com\/embed.*docs\.google\.com" is not a valid url or domain." -

This has just started to be an issue for us. Can you describe how you did this in Smoothwall please as I'm struggling... -

Reports > Reports > User analysis > Complete user audit trail Click on advanced and enter \ select username then click on 'Run report' I think the default is a week but you should then be able to amend the Start and end dates and times plus save or export it -
WCAG 2.2AA Standard for school websites?
36Degrees replied to PotNoodleTech's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Just looking at this myself!! From the appropriate gov.uk webpage: "The following organisations are partially exempt from the accessibility regulations: primary and secondary schools or nurseries - except for the content people need in order to use their services, for example a form that lets you outline school meal preferences Partially exempt organisations would need to publish an accessibility statement on their website or mobile app." So I read that as you definitely need an accessibility statement. -

CM went bust: "Caledonian Modular was a modular construction company that went into administration in March 2022 under a £20M debt pile before being bought out by JRL Group." -

FYI: Caledonian Modular had been around for sometime albeit as two separate companies specialising in modular construction of buildings for different sectors -
1) Under Policy Objects > Categories create a whitelist of the Microsoft URLs. (Warning - we have a lot of URLS in ours as we had random issues with certain things in Teams not displaying correctly) 2) Under Manage policies create a new policy of Everyone > your Whitelist > Everywhere > Always > Allow > Enabled and put it at or towards the top of the list of policies

Definitely. For example emailing all staff to let them know ClassCharts isn't working and they will need to use SIMS to take their registers...

We have users reporting 503 messages accessing Outlook on the web, taking a long time to load, crashes when they try to send an email, won't let them add attachments, won't find people in the address book...

We haven't bought new in quantity for a long time so use either Probrand or Ballicom but I tend to mainly communicate via email. Dealing with Dell directly is painful and often more expensive IME

Don't do anything with it until you have got something in writing from someone further up the food chain, preferably the Head Teacher. I assume you have an AUP or Cyber Security policy that states any personal data relating to the school should not be stored on portable media and definitely not on unencrypted portable media?

I still have my Dell Axim X51v at home. I was tempted to take it to the recycling centre but then saw people selling them online for £100 +

I remember killing one of those. A senior member of staff where I worked at the time was having loads of problems with it. On a support call with HP they told me to download this particular file and install it. I did and then it wouldn't work at all so HP had to send us a new one. (Luckily I think it was so unreliable there was nothing important saved to it).

^^^ This. We have also had issues this year with some of the PDFs downloaded from the exam board not being compatible with the software. -

OK here. Smoothwall S9 onsite, Leeds 68 > Daisy Comm \ Virgin (Edited for typo) -
IMHO uniforms make it less obvious who are the rich kids and who are the very poor kids (sometimes less obvious if the school has a uniform that can only be purchased from certain outlets, often at extortionate prices). Just look around at the clothes worn on non-uniform days and how certain students are targeted because of what they are wearing.
