Your site does not validate. Not a good start.

If you stay with standard drives look at the WD VelociRaptor WD VelociRaptor 300 GB SATA Hard Drives ( WD3000BLFS )

I do every day. The driver may drive carefully but that does not carry over to other drivers on the road. Even if you remove the safety "gadgets" from the equation modern vehicles are far safer with safety cells and crumple zones. The 37 year old VW wont have anything like that and would no doubt come of far worse in a collision with another vehicle.
-
Interesting. So you are happy to have your newly qualified children in cars that have no safety features such as ABS, air bags etc for the sake of saving some money?
-
It is not surprising though is it? Young drivers are high risk. Just look at the driving tales of EduTech for example.

You are right I do not know you, I was just making a statement but now by your own admission should you be investigated? Of course you shouldn't. And how can you be sure the OP is not talking about a bit of shouting? This is by the by. As you said the OP was asking about 'who' to contact and not 'if he should' contact someone. So I am going to end it there and lets get back on topic.

Awww Happy birthday hunny *mwah*
-
I was just following on from a comment made by sippo. You do not agree and that is fine hunny. Although I find it hard to believe that you have never ever shouted are your children when having to discipline them? Would you have been happy to have the authorities come into your home and question your parenting? I very much doubt you would.
-
I am sure you could. My point is that the OP has given no information so no one can really make a judgment on whether or or not they are in a position to intervene. If they have witnessed abuse / violence then yes they should report it. But if the OP is making a decision based on something else, shouting or screaming through the walls for example then they should think very carefully before they start to interfere. So no I am not advocating that a child should be left to possibly suffer or trolling.
-
A quick google turns up things like this. Couple told they cannot have their children back after being wrongfully accused of abuse to take court battle to Europe | Mail Online Also do not forget that poor Baby P. It would see that your government cannot get it right, so what make you think the OP is in a better position to interfere?
-
That is a good point. You do not say what your concerns are, so unless you have actually seen anything with your own eyes I do not think you are in a position to start interfering in peoples lives.

Get a grip. You are 25!. Have a house party and enjoy you new found freedom!

It is not a gamble if you go with what you know. For example my school have a couple of C series Latitudes that are 8 years old They have spec that would put a netbook to shame. I have no doubt they will just keep on going.

I was not referring to this post rather my posts in general. Well observed. I think you will find that in light of that I have changed my opinion. Is that not what you were trying to achieve? Yes I would expect that people would want to shoot me down. My reputation is testament to that fact. Well a few posts up I did agree that I was wrong, yet here you are still berating me. Thank you for that.
-
Well after reading through the post above I will agree that the percentage of active users is not a true representation of the size of the community or the importance and that edugeek is the site it thinks it is. People here like to complain that I am a troll, and they are entitled to that view. Others think I have hit the nail on the head with some points but does the mean I deserve the insults I have received?
-
Oh and thank you to the coward who gave me some rep with the following comment - "Thinking doesn't appear to be your strong suite. I'd stick to food."
-
*yawn* Good morning. So I am to be labeled a troll? Meh. The fact some members agree with some of my musings would suggest otherwise. I was also chatting with a mod just the other evening who even agreed with some of my views. Read into that what you will.

Just got in from a great night out so will defend myself again before I catch some shuteye. Just chose that as an example. If you use 10 posts as an example you still only get around 8% So this site would have 220,000 members? I find that offensive! I just made an observation regarding the membership numbers and put it up for discussion. What does being American got to do with it? So I make an observation regarding the membership numbers and put it up for discussion, you do not like it so I should be removed? See post above. I am still new but but with all the negativity when someone new asks questions or starts discussions on subjects that the majority do not agree with what is the point of becoming an active member. Well everyone enjoy your day. Night night.

Edugeek boasts almost 22,000 members. If you take into account the number of members with a post count of 100 or more only 2.6% of members currently make regular contributions. Food for thought.
