Hi, we recently upgraded our Computing Department computers from XP to Windows 7. We are also starting a Games Design course this year and the Head of Computing wants to use gamemaker. Anyway, I had Gamemaker running and working on Windows XP, but since we moved to Windows 7, I can get game maker 7 to run after changing permissions, however it will not run any games on pupil accounts but will on staff and admin accounts. The message that appears is "Failed to load game data, File seems corrupted". I've tried contacting Yoyo Games, however they no longer support Gamemaker 7. I've also tried using Gamemaker 8, however this version will not even load. Has anyone else had this problem, if so how did you get round it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
