  1. That seems to have done the trick. Thanks very much.
  2. Hi Guys I'm having an issue with a new samsung printer and it's driver. When installing the printer as a teacher all seems well until the driver installs then it throws up the message: Windows cannot connect to the printer. Access is denied. It's a network install and our print server is 2008 R2. The client machines are win7 enterprise SP1. Our existing HP printers will install with no problem. The printer will install fine as local/network admin. When the teacher logs on afterward they can then install it ok. I've fiddled with the 'Point and print restrictions' GP with no success so i've left this setting disabled. I've also tried the 'Allow non-admin users to install these devices' GP and put in the printer GUID. I'll bet there's something really obvious i've missed. Could someone assist please. Cheers.

  4. Hello We have just started the new term and dozens of pupils have forgotten their passwords. We reset them and ask them to change it next time they logon. They do this via ctrl+Alt+Delete. However for some of the pupils it comes up with the error - "Your password must be at least 5 characters, cannot repeat any of your previous 0 passwords and must be at least 1 days old. Please type a different password. Type a password which meets both these requirements in both text boxes" When they follow these requirements it still doesn't work with all types of words. We have recently installed a 2008 R2 domain controller, could this have something to do with it? Any help appreciated.
