  1. I have done these and they have displayed the ROM in the machine, but they did not display the ones I was looking for. I have my BBC connected to a CNC lathe and until about 6 months ago it worked from a 5 1/4" floppy, This no longer works and now displays the message "Disk Fault 08" and as a result the lathe no longer works. I found two ROM chips inside the system which have written on them "Techsoft CNC Designer" but they cannot be found by the computer. So I need to find the original software and copy it over onto more of a reliable type of memory. The software is made by Lander Microsystems (for the Conect 121 CNC Lathe) does anyone know where I could get hold of this in any format compatible with the BBC? Thank you.
  2. Would anyone happen to know how you list what ROM chips you have in a BBC B, and then how you would run software from them?
  3. Thank you that's now fully functional, however, do you know how I can get the PDF to open in a seperate tab or window? Thanks.
  4. I am currently administering a website which requires an optional PDF document to be downloaded. I have been using Dreamweaver and not yet had any success. There needs to be a link (preferably with an icon of an Adobe PDF document) on the homepage of the site which when clicked will allow people to open or save the document. I'm sure that this is fairly simple, but I have not had much experience with Dreamweaver in the past... If anyone can tell me how to do this I would be most grateful. Henning.
  5. I spent the first few years of my life at Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan doing an MA in programming, and we were never told how to use this command. Even at my current position of Network Manager at the University of Cambridge I have still not heard it mentioned!
