its about an year old yeap took the battrey out and tried with the ac adaptor but still no luck no lights, what could have fried???? is there a way of finding out?

Hi people just had a laptop brought to me, and it is not switching on no power what so ever tested the power cable on a different laptop and it works fine, so the cable is fine, now realized that a bit of water was dropped on the key board what could be the possible problem? Please Help

hi people please help yesterday me server went down and would not let me log in used to go to the blue screen and then reboot i manged to log in by going to the last know good configuration however when i went into event viewer i can see an error source called OPPY_UI Category 1019 event 5 the detaiils are; (the error message appears many times) The description for Event ID ( 5 ) in Source ( OPPY_UI ) cannot be found. Hi peeps got a problerm with a usb drive one of the staff came and said it was working fine now all of a sudden it says the drive needs to be formatted. Now i know the data can be recovered using data recovery software is there any other way? if not do any of you guys know any free data recovery software? Thanks

Hi people looking for some expert knowledge here on a Monday morning lol, I have had a memory stick given to me to saying it does not open, so when I checked the memory stick it appears as a folder and does not let you open the memory stick the way to get into the memory stick is to right click and explore it will write to the stick not a problem. So I went into hidden files and deleted the exe file but then I noticed another hidden folder called recycler. When I have deleted both files they seem to appear again very quickly and now 2 other members of staff have come to me with the same problem PLEASE HELP
