Since you have the A+ and some experience it may be worth you considering taking the "MCDST" exams - they are a great entry level support role qualification and if you don't get this job then it will stand you in good stead for the next one. Exams take about 3hours each and there are 2 of them. So in theory you could be qualified in a day and stand a much better chance of getting the job and impressing them I run an IT Academy at the University of York so give me a call and I can let you sit the exams at our Prometric test centre if you want. Hi Adam, Thanks for the referral Adam and well done last week on passing the 2nd exam! You are now MCDST. We are part of the University of York and therefore own aim is knowledge transfer to Yorkshire & Humberside. We are also not for profit which allows us to charge far less than commercial training companies. Finally, we are a Prometric Testing Centre - though it is private and not visible via the Prometric website, drop me a PM or call to arrange an exam. If you attend a course with us, we let you have the exams at cost (£60), otherwise they are £88 each. Take care.
