1. This sounds like what I am looking for. Was it easy to setup?
2. Thank you, Will look at these options. Currently the staff and students logins are similar so may need to alter policy to follow AlanD’s example. Thank you Witch, will investigate this further.
3. Good morning, We are a small independent school who has recently invested in Office 365. I would like my students to have access to Office 365 but the powers that be do not want the students to have the same email address as the staff. They would like them to be easily identified as a student of the school, rather than sharing the same email address standard. Is this easy to do? In my head we should be able to create a sub domain within office 365 so instead of the [email protected] we could create [email protected]. Is this possible??? Thank you in advance.
4. Mixed feelings about this as a Liverpool fan. On the one hand he is a fantastic footballer who strikes fear into any team we played against, this alone shall be sorely missed. On the other hand he comes with too much baggage and it seems like he is one incident away from a very large ban, particularly in this country. I don't think Liverpool could keep backing him regardless of how good a player he is.
5. Did Mcmanaman or Owen not get selected when playing for Real Madrid? Interesting!!
6. Thanks to all of the posts on here, I too have found the couch to 5k programme and downloaded all of the podcasts. up until 4 years a go I was relatively fit, playing football regularly etc... 2 kids later and any attempts at running have found me struggling. I think I still have the mindset of 4 years ago and the body is just not in that same place! I really need to start again and this looks like just the thing. Has anyone been doing the strength and flex programme along side the couch to 5k? Have they found it helps?
7. I taught this this year to my year 7's and 8's and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The Makewaves social networking accounts meant that they had a chance to practice how to stay safe online without having to give them access to Facebook etc.... You also have a good level of control over it so are able to monitor things and can set it up so that content has to be accepted before going live. Plus, you can hand out a certificate at the end of it or a digital badge!
8. I got an email and replied but have so far not received anything back.... and I was so looking forward to my goodie bag!
9. Is anyone else within the CLEO region, who has a Moodle resource hosted by CLEO experiencing difficulties this morning? Our users are experiencing slowness and not being able to log in to the schools moodle. The Internet connection is up and running fine, so not an Internet issue. Thanks
10. I have configured the two files and still no joy. I found another thread that told me to put this command into the terminal prompt and this works sudo apt-get -o Acquire::http::proxy="http://proxyurl:port" update I guess I just need to find the right file to input the Acquire command
11. I created a file in the following location /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/10proxy which contains the above piece of code. Should this be in another file?
12. Hello all, Has anyone been able to connect to their Raspberry Pi's to the Network so that the 'sudo apt-get update' command works? I have followed some advice found online which enables me to point the Raspberry Pi to the Cache box and it appears to work, however when I run the update I get about 6% through before it fails citing that it cannot connect to the mirror sites. Is it a case that the address is being blocked by CLEO or have I missed something? Has anyone managed to connect the Raspberry Pi, who is still receiving their Internet connection through CLEO? Thanks Nick
