I don't know how helpful this might be but we have a setup similar to the fellow who has a c and d drive on his servers. We have set up the home folder parent folder and have sub folders within for each user and student. The way the client gets the home folder added automatically is though the profile tab on the user account properties in active directory. There is a check box where you can choose a network path and drive letter for the home folder. I think there are other ways to do this but this has worked nicely for us.

Autodesk also offers a more robust viewer which is called Inventor View. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=12624908 This is a much larger program, around 256 MB, I had to find it through the forums since I didn't find what I wanted through google. Hope this helps.

I have tried to do this using Rapid Install from Symantec and I still have the problem of needing admin rights to install this driver and on each usb port. From all the stuff I have found on the web, it is because of the unsigned drivers. So no joy, two devices (an Avervision document camera and a Boreal microcsope) times 60 laptops, time 4 USB ports equals 2 unhappy techs!

I have had this issue with drivers that appear to be signed, btw. I tried to capture this process using Deployment Server, which claims that it can capture driver installs as well as software installs. No luck with this. Anyone have any ideas?
