Need a solution for a small private school, with about 100 students 11 staff. Yes census is done. Currently no MIS system in place, basically use a access database with spreadsheets. Implementation shouldn't be problem . I just wanted to know if any other schools are using it. The MIS provider Open Solutions for Education | OS4ED does look professional. I have had a look at the following Focus/SIS, The SchoolTool Project, Centre SIS, FreeMIS but not really impressed. How much do you think something like SIMS should cost. Any other suggestion?

We used to use exchange, was a nightmare to manage. I hava used Zimbra and would recommend. We have just migrated to Google Apps Education Edition. We dont have to worry about managing and maintaining servers or updates any more. AND ITS FREE.
