@Geoff, If I'd known that you were doing that I'd have left the ethanol production setup that I'd already made ^^ I dismantled it because I realised that I needed jet fuel and wanted the DC motors I was using. Steam engines not exploding is definitely a benefit, but soon realised that all rotarycraft things are volatile. I had 2 cases of exploding gearboxes after that. My aim was to make a bedrock breaker to make headway on making a quarry, hopefully with a decent chance of getting certus quartz.

Got an AE crafting terminal up and built the main part of what will become the AE storage building. Also got some rudimentary autocrafing up with an assembler, a sag mill and an alloy smelter. Next step is to get my cabling to everyone's bases and the core cabling in the new building. I'll need a reliable supply of nether quartz now. Best head off to the nether and try not to be killed by that damned sphinx again ^^

Finally found iron Put just over 2 stacks in the smeltry and is available. There's still plenty more in the vein too.

Set up in the tinkers building next to the gardens. Got a bit of fresh food on the go now so if anyone needs anything, help yourselves. Still not found iron, but haven't really looked yet.

Hopefully iron will be easier to find in this one!

What's gone wrong?

I use a scheduled task from group policy on the OU. You can then use Item Level Targeting to exclude anything that you don't want to shutdown. I was using the same method that you're using but found this works much better and more efficiently.

I would recommend that you look at iSAMS. We are currently a SIMS school, but are seriously considering migrating to iSAMS after several talks and a demo.

Also, just out of curiosity, what (if anything) have you removed from the pack?

This weekend is fine for me... as @Geoff said; I've not been on since the announcement, and besides having look at what it's like, I don't want to do too much in single player before the server goes up.

I'll mainly be going for the chance to keep up with the years development. I need to look at servers and switching as both are due for replacement soon. Other than that, it'll be for the freebies!

Netgear also offer Lifetime warranty, 3 year NBD onsite service, and lifetime tech support. One of the reasons I considered them.

I have a full site of Netgear M5300 switches on the edge and an M7100 at the core. I made the tentative move from HP due to cost and haven't looked back since. I've not used that particular series from them, though it looks like a lower spec version of the same thing. The only things that I'll say about netgear switches is that you need to be careful, as the CLI language is very different to the likes of HP and Cisco and the GUI uses different terminology. Also, some of their low end edge switches can be very slow to use. I have 4 NETGEAR ProSafe® GS110TPv2 switches like this. Whilst it doesn't affect their performance, but is very frustrating trying to configure them. I don't know if your suppliers will do this, but I'd ask for a test unit or a demo, so that you can see what tthey're like before leaping. As far as transceivers go, you should be fine as long as you use the right settings for switch on the other end of the run. I had several HP Procurve 2900 switches on the end of mine with no troubles at all.

True but you need 4 of them to every 1 Ender Energy Conduit to get the same capacity

You need to have an Energy Acceptor to convert RF to AE, though I thought that it was working for you when I was there?

Now there's an invite for a quarry if ever I heard one * jokes of course. Greifing of that degree is just cruel and not at all fun.
