  1. Hi all, Just wondering what we should make sure we have exported from our Bromcom test system before our final migration from SIMS. we know to export our created roles and permissions and run an audit report of assigned roles to staff. Is there anything else people recommend running?
  2. Thanks Dev, will probably do it manually then
  3. we have had a few like this in the past generally the only way I've managed it is by enabling all the recognition options or putting it in the firewall policies was the only other way. We are ditching SENSO now going over to netsweeper.
  4. Can anyone help me with automatically running a PDO for a list of students? I have about 75 to run so being able to do it from a csv or something would be great. Alternatively is there a way to create 1 report that covers all the the aspects of the PDO that I can then use
  5. Hi All, Yet another person struggling with SENSO and the V2 change over along with realising that the policies implemented in V1 are a bag of poo and don't actually block anything correctly or log violations correctly. Can anyone help me by supplying their policies and other settings? via screenshot is fine I just need some help resetting and starting again as I don't know where to start If you have managed to set them up in V2 as well I would be grateful for those as well Thank you in advance - One fed-up and confused Tech-
  6. hail the old threads!!! was so confused as to why i couldn't deploy the exams organiser update turns out the run as admin trick was all i needed
  7. Thank you, whats the best way to do this archive? im not super familiar with SIMS so any advice or a linked guide would be appreciated.
  8. Hi everyone, we are a large school with 2000+ students and 20 years of old sims data still on our servers, we are running into some performance issues with sims and wondering if people can steer me in the right direction. As far as I am aware having more RAM in the system than the main database is advisable we have 48GB of RAM and our database is only 30gb however our linked documents server is over 240gb! Is there a feasible way to reduce this without the entire SQL becoming a nonsensical mess because it cant find things anymore. We haven't run the re indexing patch for a while and as far as I am aware we have never run the housekeeping for orphaned documents either or the address tidy and merge routines. I'm not looking to delete it all mainly archive it so its not part of the actively loaded document server. Any help or advice is appreciated
