I'm assuming this is a power supply related issue but I thought I'd ask here before committing. I have a PC that, when switched on almost immediately shuts down again. Sometimes it gets as far as the POST screen but usually not even that far. I've removed all the cards and swapped the RAM to no avail. Power supply? Or has anyone else experienced this and found a different cause?

Unfortunately we can't use an SMTP feed to the server because we share our DN across three physical sites, each site therefor has to download the contents of it's own mailboxes. If I could have done this then I would have

A two part question. The POP connector within SBS 2003 (Exchange) can only be configured to a minimum time between email collections of 15 minutes, this is becoming a pain and I'd like to reduce this down to one minute if possible. Q1 - Does anyone know if it's possible to hack the POP connector to reduce the collection time? OR Q2 - Is there a third-party pop connector that's compatible with SBS that would give us this functionality? Thanks all.

Thank you for all of your replies, all of which are very helpful. Rest assured I won't be rushing into any implementation as it's me that would take the flak if it went wrong! The situation is that the head is attending an IT strategy meeting (without any IT people present of course!) tomorow where he has to give a brief presentation on where we see 'IT' going in the near term. There are several subjects, VLE being only one. I just needed some presentational concept material in a hurry. Thank you very much for your help. We probably will go down the moodle route in due course, probably from September but it will depend on input and support from the staff, one or two of whom are a IT illiterate! It will happen and I'm sure I'l be a regular on here from now on. Thanks again.

Good morning My headmaster has asked me to provide a very brief 'bullet point' presentation covering why we should use Moodle. We don't currently use any VLE and I have very limited experience with Moodle but like it so far. The trouble is I don't know enough about it to provide said bullet points. I need to do this today. Does anyone here have any sort of presentation that they would share with me, or perhaps point me to a suitable link?
