  1. Hi @CyBeRkId2002, sorry to hear your experience has not met expectations. Our recommended way to reach support quickly is via the online chat option in the portal. We introduced Vizzy to help with initial questions as most of our chats are 'How to' enquiries and Vizzy is able to respond quicker and include documentation links instantly. This hopefully frees up our human support team to chat with customers that are experiencing problems. At any point, you can ask Vizzy to speak to a human and the chat should then be routed to one of our specialists. Again, apologies if your experience has not been as we hoped. We are proud to continue to provide local support specialists to our customers who need it.
  2. Hi @mavhc, yes, the SignInApp Kiosk is fully available for both Android tablets and iPads .
  3. Thanks @mavhc, I have reviewed the support tickets including the feature requests and can see that these have been closed. Our support team record all feature requests for us and these are reviewed for consideration regularly. As an existing customer, you can also send feature suggestions to [email protected] , but this address should not be used for support or problems as it is only sent to the product team and is not 24Hr. I have recorded your suggestions for improvements to night mode and these will be considered in our future app updates. We are actually building a new app that will also support Android devices this year along with the other centralised portal control options. We are very proud of our support services, so I am sorry if you feel you have not been getting the responses you need. I have asked a Manager to review and reach out to you directly to address any concerns. Thanks Gary
  4. Hi @mavhc I have just seen your post. Sorry you have been experiencing some initial configuration issues. support@signinapp is the the best email address to use however you can also use our online chat to speak to someone 24Hrs a day Mon-Fri. Our help guides are also published at I am in Product and not support myself, but I can confirm that the creation of an Entra sync group in the portal does require the person creating the group to be a global admin. Having another admin approve this after the fact is not currently supported. Regarding the night mode, as this is a setting within the app settings, this uses the time on the iPad and not the time of the site. We are looking at changing this soon as we are building new configuration pages for many of the app settings within the portal so they can be centrally managed. Thanks Gary
  5. Hi @Symbiosis I'll let others say how they find it, but Sign In Apps recommended method of running an evacuation process is to use our free companion app or using the kiosks. Each device can join a 'Shared evacuation', meaning that they are all synchronised, so if someone is marked as present on one device, it displays this on all devices in the evacuation. You can filter the list live by Group, Fire evacuation point or any other personal field like year group. You can create or sync as many tags as you want and filter by these. With a compatible MIS, we can also pull the school register and add it to the list along with visitors, staff and contractors.
  6. If you use a visitor management system, not only will you have an accurate record of who is in the building should an emergency happen, but you could configure a one off survey either on sign in or sign out. This can be done using a reception kiosk and/or a QR code on a poster where they can sign in/out and also answer survey questions using their personal device You could make it even easier by pre-registering them via email and sending them a QR code to use to sign in by displaying it at a kiosk. You could also take it to the next level and allow the parents to choose from a list of available slots and book the visit time that suit them.
  7. Sign In App now have the ability to protect any attendance codes from being overwritten. In the example where a pupil has an 'M' mark due to an authorised medical appointment, when configured, we detect this when the pupil later signs in and prevent the code being replaced by 'L' or 'U'. We also have an option for custom writeback codes based on the answer to a question (for example: Reason for being late or :Reason for leaving early) Anyone who would like to know more or have this configured, please reach out to our support team.
  8. Thanks @steveg Yes, indeed we do support pupil registers in evacuations via our Wonde sync with compatible MIS. When an authorised user selects the evacuate button in our portal, reception kiosk or our free 'Companion app' for mobile devices, we not only list everyone who has signed in today on the evacuation list (Staff, visitors, contractors etc), but we pull a copy of the register and populate the list with everyone who is currently in the building. As we are a cloud based solution, there is no concern if there is a power outage at any point during the evacuation.
  9. Nobody is recommending a visitor management system directly populating a SCR, contrary, the recommendation is that SCR records for repeat or regular contractors are populated in the visitor management system to flag any missing or expired checks that may be required when they visit as an 'Approved contractor' at point of entry.
  10. Birthday present sorted for my brother
  11. Thank you. Regarding your other comment about a single Late or Unauthorised time, this is true if all pupils are in the same group. The setting is for all members of the group, however it is possible to split out a single pupil group into different year groups and each year group can have a different set of rules.
  12. Hi Everyone, my name is Gary and I am the Senior Product Manager at Sign In App. I do not like interfering with personal opinions in public forums, but we are always looking for ways to improve our product to meet the needs of our customers. I wanted to mention that we are launching a new beta of writeback functionality that covers many of the concerns some of you have posted here. 1. Protected codes - Prevent the overwrite of specific codes of your choice (Like M-Medical for example) 2. Custom attendance codes - Write back a specific code based on the answer to a question when signing in. If anyone would like to know more or participate in the beta trial, please PM me and I can arrange this for your account. We plan to start the beta trials before the end of March. Thanks
  13. Hi @njreynolds My name is Gary and I am the Senior Product Manager at Sign In App. Apologies for the late reply to this post, but we've only recently joined the forum. It would be great to work with you to get this solved. I'll send you a PM so we can chat through it in more detail. Thanks
