  1. Walton Samual is actually Wauton Samuel used to work with them :-)
  2. Hi The link you are testing is for B2B personnel and that service is not currently used in 916. To test the B2B schedule is working as it should, run the scheduled task and scheduled task 1 via task scheduler, and check the sims task log via SIMS. If you have still got errors email me :-) Vania
  3. We have a school that are currently getting timeout errors when using/saving SIMS attendance and assessments. The users are connecting from teachers laptops via a remote desktop connection from their curriculum network to the admin server using windows authentication to get into SIMS and using the servers local sims files (Pulsar, connect.ini and SIMS.ini etc). I am after advice, as to what to advise a 3rd party hardware support company, to check as the issues are since they upgraded wireless onsite and issued new laptops updating Windows XP to W7. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  4. I'll have to say hello at the nest SWIMS you attend.
  5. Err Chapess here thank you! Ha Ha I have been called worse! Will you be at the Conference next week? Vania
  6. Hi Rawns, Wasn't connecting first thing this morning but I successfully transferred a file at 10am.
  7. Hi The connection from SIMS to FMS is a setting in FMS Tools | Star 7 settings in here your set the path to SIMS Directory - I've done a few installations of FMS 2nd databases where Academies use database selector but not actually set up an FMS database. We have a separate team for that, who may be able to help if you get stuck. Vania
  8. Just managed to log in to Supportnet, but for how long, who knows?
  9. Thanks Arthur that worked a treat - there is no reference to this anywhere on Supportnet! Matt40k - Discovered PDOXUSR error on another W7 server install, so well versed on that one, probably with the help of your previous post. It's just a shame that all the relevant info on how to fix the various FMS errors appearing on W7/Server2008 is so segmented. Thanks to this site my life is made just that little bit easier! Cheers guys!
  10. Hi This has been resolved. On checking the Citrix server setup their installation didn't include infrastructuresetup.exe so BDE wasn't installed! Installed and all running OK.
  11. Hi Can anyone please advise how to work around BDE errors when trying to run FMS via Citrix. FMS works fine on the main server that holds the FMS and SIMS databases, Citrix is linking to. Currently the Citrix Server holds the Sims .net folder and this contains the FMSSQL. The error currently given when trying to run FMS via Citrix is: “Exception EDBEngineError in module Finance.exe at 0007A8E6. An error occurred while attempting to initialize the Borland Database Engine (error $210A)”. Is that permissions related? Thansk for any help in advance.
  12. Here is the link http://saltash.net/filepantry/IMS_Team_Documents_Summer_2010.zip Hope it helps?
  13. Hi I found a post today on Supportnet from an LA, very comprehensive. I can't post the link until i have made this post! Thanks
