Maybe an ideal step forward is getting some portable T bars and LED washes and spots - with wireless DMX links... same as Tarleton Less work and cost than rigging up a whole new ceiling system, and very modular.

Great point, we raised this to the Exec team and their response was "well, they wont be able to access emails from home then" So far we have not had any staff with objections to this. Some disliked it at first, then after explaining that we cannot spy on them, and it is Microsoft and not us - all was well.

We deployed 2FA to a Trust - 600 staff rather rapidly. We sent out a 2-page PDF explaining what 2FA is, why we are doing it, and how to set it up. Preference is Microsoft Authenticator - no other options available. When we have staff who have an older phone that cannot get the app, we add their phone number ourselves - reluctantly. Gone really well, few issues here and there - but overall fairly smooth. We also blocked sign-in attempts from abroad for students completely - our logs actually exceed the 250k limit without using Microsoft Graph API. Great success on reducing compromised accounts sending spam emails.

Hi, This is super easy to do, you do not even have to power off the VM! (although I am sure someone will say there is a benefit to turning it off?) Just go into ESXi, expand the disk. Login to VM, go to Disk Management - then extend. It will take you all of 45 seconds.

RapidIT and ICT Direct are great. Reece at Rapid will give you some great pricing, quality is solid.

SignInApp seems to be the latest thing... Have not personally tried it, but looks excellent. Paxton integration etc Runs on iPads.

Another vote for Freshdesk, its excellent. Especially if you plan to utilise it more than what you've stated, later down the line.

We have great experience with Sophos XG and Site-to-Site VPN links, From Wave9 (Hey Lee!) 4x Secondary 1x large primary + 1x small primary linked to a secondary While I much prefer the filtering options and ease of use from Smoothwall, Sophos does a great job - plus with Wave9 support we have no concerns generally. Would be really interested on hearing more about Smoothwall VPN and Fortigate solutions out of interest...
