Hi There, As a trust we are looking at potentially moving SIMS from on-prem to Hosted, has anyone had any experience of this? I know ESS are pushing the sims connected and nextgen however based on previous years i am a little apprehensive with going with SIMS connected, the other option was hosted with SCOMIS but wanted people's opinions. Has any other trusts adopted this approach. I know there is other hosted MIS providers like Arbor, Bromcom etc but seems like the CEO wants to stick with SIMS. Thoughts?

Hi All, We are currently in the process of looking at an app that would tie in Text Messaging/Push Notifications, Payments, Social Media, student reporting etc and have recently been looking into Weduc? I know there are others out there and we have have had a few demo's from different companies, was just wondering if anyone else currently is and uses Weduc and how have you found it to be? Are parents on board and happy with the app? Thoughts?

Thank you for your reply Do you know roughly off the top of your head how much this cost? I know it will depending pupil numbers etc but just so i have a rough idea? as it easy enough to set up from an IT point of view?

Just wondering what/how other schools access SIMS on a mobile device. We currently have a few staff that are unable to access a PC some lessons in order to take their class registers (PE Staff Mainly) and was wondering what other school's do/suggest to staff in this situation. We have RDP with SIMS installed on but i appreciate this can be a little clunky for staff signing into RDP and then opening up SIMS and taking the register on a Tablet i.e. iPad I know SIMS also have a SIMS Teacher App but haven't got much experience with this - unsure if other school have the SIMS Teacher App and what they think about the app? Any help is greatly appreciated.
