  1. Had a similar problem to this with downgrading to ie 9 from ie 10. I deleted the profiles of the users that were affected on the machine and that seems to have fixed the problem.
  2. Sorry for late reply. Could I get the tank bot
  3. Just tried Ajaxplorer V4.0.4 on my machine when changing upload limit in php.ini ajaxplorer would not reflect the changes of the upload size. For me reinstalling ajaxplorer would get the new upload limit.

  5. One of the support staff is having a problem opening Word documents with macros in them on one xp macahine. They where working on their login last week but now refuse to open. When double clicking on a word document with a macro on you get the following message: Microsoft Word The document contains macros. Macro language support for this application is disabled. Features requiring VBA are not available. Would you like to open this document read-only? Click OK then you get this message: Microsoft Word Security Notice Word has detected a problem with this file. Opening it may be dangerous. You should not open this file unless you trust it. Click Ok Again then you get this message: Microsoft Word Word experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions. * Check the file permissions for the document or drive. * Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space. * Open the file with the Text Recovery converter. I have logged into this machine as myself and was able to run the documents with no problems. I have also logged in as a test account and had no problems. I have re-installed office 2010, have checked that VBA tools are installed, enabled macros in word options to allow all macros and have deleted their local profile. None of these things have worked. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. It is not VLANed Check already have set it to full and half duplex and still get the same result.
  7. I have a 3com 4400 switch that only half the ports are working properly on. Ports 1 -12 and 25 - 36 are giving me a read/write of about 60 Mbps while ports 13 - 24 and 37 - 48 are giving me a read/write of about 7 Mbps. Is their any way to improve the speed of the ports or is it time to replace the switch?
  8. The desktop Opera does have a feature that is similar to opera mini. It called turbo mode if enable it will start using the opera compression servers.
  9. I think i have sorted the problem out now. In the computer configuration policy 'Make proxy settings per-machine (rather than per-user)' was enabled I have disabled it now and seems to be working.
  10. The policy is applied to the user section. The last NM had applied the proxy settings to default domain policy so I thought it would be just an easy change. I have also tried to disable proxy settings in default domain and setting the proxy policy in a new gpo and have also tried deleting profiles before logging on.
  11. Just got a new smoothwall proxy and we're trying to change the proxy settings with GPO. We have set the default domain policy to point to the new proxy server but when logging in as a teacher or student the settings are either the old proxy settings or are just blank. Running rsop on the machine shows that it should be applied. Logging in as admin seems to work fine.
