if I give the server a statistical ip it is not visible on my windows client. If I leave this on DHCP it will be visible on my windows client. now i have to say i only have a switch now. could possibly add a router. But there is no internet available on this network. but then in my opinion I should be working with a statistical ip on the server?

installing a server for the first time. Have windows server 2019 installd. I cannot get the network set up. and I want to run repetier server on this and also have a file server on it. what do I need for that.
