  1. synaestjesia Tokens are coming from Inventry sync to PaxtonCards are 1k Mifare cardsACU Paxton reader set to be a Paxton Reader, reading the token data format Paxton Token. This is working for the data sent from Inventry to Paxton and how we wish to keep things so prevent rescanning 1800 cards. 3s-gtech Yes I was expecting the desktop usb reader to read the cards the same as the ACU Paxton reader is reading, I see no real options to change anything for the USB desktop reader in Net2 or the config util.In the config util, we have a weigands config ticked, with 32bits and rule 1 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXXX and at the bottom of that page, the Desktop Reader Operatinig mode (EM4100 only) is auto detect. If the ACU is set to use the token data format as Paxton Token, I assume the weigands settings in the Config util are being ignored, as we do not have the token set to Weigands or Weigands custom. Thimon yes ive read about lots of people using a spreadsheet, and if all else fails I might have go to down that route, but I would have thought the Paxton USB reader on a PC and the Paxton Reader on a door ACU should read the token the same. Steveg The ACU is set as a Paxton Reader with Paxton Token.A card read against the ACU which recognises who the card belongs to is:29944897The same card read against the USB desktop reader is 9851201 Thanks James
  2. I shan't bore with the long saga of door access but Im in the middle of putting Net2 and Paxton H/W in, Ive had many problems with card details but Im getting to the bottom gradually. We have a USB Paxton reader, model 514 325 and a reader for an ACU Paxton 353-457 ( I believe the reader on the ACU is a P50) and the standard Desktop Reader if you google Paxton desktop reader. I was under the impression that these two should read cards the same. In Net2 the P50 is setup as a Paxton reader on the Door, however it reads the card differently to if I present the card to the USB reader. I know I can set a door to be a desktop reader, and as cards are presented to the doors reader it will populate the card details, but I was hoping that a Paxton USB reader in the office to scan some cards, but Im getting totally different data off the USB reader to a reader on a door. Has anyone had this issue, or know of a way to get the USB Desktop Reader to read the cards the same as the door ACU reader is reading them? Thanks
  3. This I believe will be a quick answer one.... due to probably my overly complexed search terms I didnt get a definitive answer from google. I have an O365 user whose account was sync'd from AD. Their AD account is no more. Their 365 account is no more, not even in deleted users, so I presume their AD account was deleted over 90 days ago. If I do a Compliance Search for emails they have sent, am I right in saying I will find none, unless the email was sent to a user who is still active in the O365 tenant? Therefore their externally sent emails will not be searchable for? Thanks
  4. Have managed to make progress on this today, having replaced a couple of certificates exporting from ASM and importing into intune, and then adding the S/N of a new ipad into intune, I got rid of the no profiles error the ipad was getting, and it has now appeared online. I have been able to send some apps to the ipad too. Where I am now struggling is with being able to change the device ownership. Its curreny "unknown" and I cannot change to corporate, or set a primary user on it.
  5. Fairly new to intune, we have laptops and ipads setup in intune, and all has been working well. Tried to add an ipad Friday night, and im getting an "invalid profile" message on the remote management page when going through the intune setup. After a bit of a google I found that it could be related to the MDM push certificate, however I have checked this and the MDM certificate is vallid till July24. The enrollment program tokens has a warning, but this relates to "On iOS/iPadOS 14.5.x and 14.6.x, the Passcode and Touch ID Setup Assistant screens during device setup aren't working. If you use these settings in your policy, the settings aren't enforced." We have a configuration profile under Devices>IOS>configuration profiles. Can anyone suggest where I need to look to resolve the invalid profile message the ipad is getting when trying to setup into Intune, happy to send any screenshots that may be of assistance. Thanks
  6. Afternoon all, I have seen many pages about disabling pupils from messaging a team, however only one for disabling chat privately which was to turn off private chat for the tenant. Is it possible to stop pupils from using the Chat to send private messages, but leave their ability to message a team? However leave the private chat on so that teachers can send 1 to 1 direct messages? Many thanks
