Hi,
I have lots of collections and ADRs (total 5000+ workstations and 500+ servers!). How are people doing compliancy efficiently at this scale?
Workstations:
Collection 1 maps with ADR1
Collection 2 maps with ADR2
Collection 3 maps with ADR3
Collection 4 maps with ADR4
Collection 5 maps with ADR5
Collection 6 maps with ADR6
Collection 7 maps with ADR7
Collection 8 maps with ADR8
Collection 9 maps with ADR9
Collection 10 maps with ADR10
Let's say each Collection has 500 devices and each ADR is Windows 10, Security and Critical Updates
Servers:
Collection 11 maps with ADR11
Collection 12 maps with ADR12
Collection 13 maps with ADR13
Collection 14 maps with ADR14
Collection 15 maps with ADR15
Collection 16 maps with ADR16
Collection 17 maps with ADR17
Collection 18 maps with ADR18
Collection 19 maps with ADR19
Collection 20 maps with ADR20
Let's say each collection is 50 devices and the ADRs are a mixture of Windows Server, 2012 - 2019, Security and Critical Updates
Using the 'Overall Compliance' report in SCCM and SSRS (I'm actually using a custom SQL query I built), I have to specify a collection and a SUG. So that means I'm doing 20 compliancy reports = sorry but **** that!
What I imagined with the thread title, is to have an extra collection and an ADR. They would both be 'Custom All Systems'. Now I have just 1 compliancy report to run. If I added another 1000 collections and ADRs, still just 1 compliancy report.
I'm not sure I can create an ADR though that is used as a dummy one, in that it only has the products, classifications etc. to compare a device against, but doesn't actually do any deployments. Only the real ADRs should deploy anything.
