The zipped folder needs to be password protected. I'll try zipping the zip file up see if that sneaks through:)

This is how the exam board want the file, I've said can't we just 7zip it up this works but they insist it needs to be a .zip not a .7z file because they can't open a .7z(don't go there)

Our exams officer is trying to send a zipped file that is password protected, we are on EMBC/synetrix and the filter doesn't allow it and stops it. I'm assuming that other schools have to do this the exam board is AQA. How do you get around this? I've put a call in to the helpdesk, they inform me to let them know the senders address and the destination address and they'll allow it through. I've just got and email from the exams officer saying it can't be delivered:mad:

Am I missing something here, can't you just download Openoffice or even openoffice portable to open the file? then save as a .ppt

I could do , but I don't really want a PC set up in the kitchen. Setting up the squeezebox server on my NAS was painless, a neat box sitting on the side should do the trick.

Is it a laptop or desktop? I had this problem with my vista desktop at home, and it turned out to be because it was sent to sleep and when I woke it back up there as no connection. The solution was to unplug the power cable leave it out for a min plug it back in.....worked after that:confused:

I did this a while ago but I think I needed to generate the password as a MD5 string using something like this and paste that string into the password field

It looks to me that the whiteboard is just a jpeg image, which you could easliy publish to a module position in joomla. The java script is for the news ticker at the top of the page which are available for joomla
